Jaguars are seductive cars for sure, but the long term ownership experience is not all that great, and can be quite troublesome and expensive.

Now if the car were to be provided by a company which also bears the costs, then it might be a good choice, or if it is a lease which is tax-deductible, it might make some sense.

Otherwise, forewarned is forearmed.

I'm loving the pictures that you took. I liked the review as welll, something missing though, how would you compare this with the S-Class and Lexus LS460? worth buying when you see those two? and I heard Jaguar cars are not fuel efficient. What about this one though? Is it a RWD or a 4WD?

The Jaguar XJ uses direct-injection which helps both fuel economy and performance. Most importantly, there is no gas guzzler tax while most of the XJ's competitors have it. Fuel economy for the NA LWB car I drove was 15 city and 22 highway.

Absolutely stunning interior. Jaguar is back in business with it's recent cars. Reliability is getting better too.

Nice read, however, I was expecting more words. I hope unlike other British cars, it's awesome interior don't start falling apart in very first year!

Last week, I had a bunch of trucks passing me on i95, loaded with new Xjs & new Range Rovers. I must say, I couldn't stand Xj's rear, irl!
