I think u r not correct regarding 50 meaning 50 degrees outside temperature, these are oil standards and you will have to look for their meaning from relevant standard description. 5w50 isn't recommended because it is used for older engines, suzuki recommendations are 10w40 for Swift and you should use that. If you want fully synthetic then go for 5w40 or 5w30 they will also be good for fuel economy but 5w50 isn't recommended at all even by manufacturer.
Regarding plugs suzuki recommendations is Ngk ifr6j11 but they are not available in Pakistan so you can use denso ik20 or autolite 3923.

according to temperatue in your city 5w50 should be good,5 degrees being lowest n 50degrees being highest
life of the oil depends on the make of the oil,eg micking fully synthetic is supposed to be used for 5k whereas valvoline fully synthetic runs for 10k kms.
use fully synthetic oil only.
throttle should be cleaned after every 10k kms
for the breaks do it when required or before ur going for a long journey
go for denso ik20 plugs as these are supposed to come in the engine from the company but since this is Pakistan they take everything out n put in the cheapest possible ones to maximise the profit

you car temp guage is kharab bhai, ismien oil ka koi kamaal nahi.

Get your temprature gauge fixed. It should be in the middle.

my mehran euro 2's guage always keeps near that c mark and with ac. a lil up.
it never touch middle

get it fixed then you should bleed your cooling system then as the bubbles between coolant cause this issue usually.

You are using api sn oil in g13ba and running it dead cold ?

Dear hashsohail ,,, your perception is good.... I m a big fan of suzuki margalla....and I have well maintained it... You can have test drive it... Its cooling system is PERFECTLY maintained by me as I frequently bleed it and keep clean n filled with best coolant in market available besides of the engine oil

I am using LM Synthoil Hightech 5w-40 in my Swift. as per the owner's manual, you can use from 0-40...hence i would not recommend 50 as it will be very viscous.

I am owner of SWIFT DX for the last one year and doing its maintenance regularly.

But I am still unclear about many things I need help from owner if they could answer my queries.

1. ZIC X9 5W-40 (XQ)
2. Suzuki API grade is still SM while ZIC is SN. So ZIC is better
3. Stock copper plugs are the best.
4. When your PADs need change, your ABS light will turn on momentarily. Happened to two of my colleagues.
5. They clean your plugs during normal tuning session. No need to clean throttle unless there is some issue.

Stick to Suzuki oil

I am owner of swift 2012 DLX. I am using for every Suzuki car fully synthetic oil that is Zic A+ its really amazing thin oil. its giving within city 10-12 and on long like motorway its 14-15.5
