Congrats all those who have got their suzukies and Good luck for those who are waiting for their car. i got myself AGS on Jan 15-2022 which was booked on Sep 21 and the TDD was jan 08-2022. We had booked 4 cars on same day but got only 02 uptill now in Sand beige color. The remaining two are still in process and suzuki is giving as usual computer generated replies and the TDD is now 1st week Feb 2022

Big Question:

How many of you guys noticed that almost all suzuki alto variants delivered before Jan 22 have motors in their headlights which are meant to use for leveling of Headlight beam. The connectors are there along with motors but suzuki didint provided the wiring and the switch.

3 of my friends have got alto delivered before jan 22, all 03 of them had motors in their headlight. But mine doesn't as suzuki has changed or removed the parts.

Yup, have them in my cousins 19 alto vxl. I'm sure there must be DIY's about how to install the self leveling wiring and switch. Funny why they would ditch it. But if someone does want to install the harness ( not sure if it might be tucked away somewhere ), they won't have to pay for the motors too

I think you are being overcharged. 1,521,000 / 1.125 = 1,352,000 (Cost) 1,352,000 x 2.5% = 33,800 (FED) 33,800 x 12.5% = 4,225 (Incremental GST on FED) You should ideally end up paying = 33,800 + 4225 = 38,025 (No any other tax) Ask your dealer how come it is 45K?

I heard Sand Beige colour was discontinued last year and customer was either asked to choose from two colour options provided by Suzuki, or cancel booking and take refund.

How did you manage to get the sand beige colour in 2022?

we booked VXR on 1186667 exclusive of sales tax and FED so FED should be calculated on the same.

Anyone willing to part out motors are welcome in Karachi. i have bought the switch before receiving the car but these idiots have removed from new deliveries.

Yes, there might be a hidden wiring harness in the car which can be identified. i wonder how many other things in the car PS have reduced or removed from the car.

Members having cars delivered in Oct & Nov 2021, have they received any calls from suzuki for RECALL due to replacement of fuel pipe.

At the time of booking they were reluctant to book this color but some how GOD knows they agreed and the cars came near to the mentioned TDD. the silver and grey booked are still in process by suzuzki.

1,546,000 / 1.125 = 1,374,222 (New cost)
1,374,222 / 1.025 × 2.5% = 33,518 (FED on New Cost)
33,518 x 12.5% = 4,190 (Incremental GST on FED)

You should ideally end up paying = 33,518 + 4,190 = 37,708

Some of the respected members shared that Additional Custom Duty (ACD) has also been implemented on various imported parts of vehicles under 850cc, so the remaining amount of Rs.292 (38,000-37,708) may reflect that amount.

it means that only Pak Suzuki know the actual calculation, lets wait for the reply, they already replied once asking for the copy of BPO which i already shared with them, lets see.

Further more policy is always uniform for all, its not possible that one person has to pay ACD and other will not

supply chain and logistics are affected overall globally, they are assembling parts from whatever source they r finding these days,

God forbid, if some issue comes then the customer will suffer, like if a part is not available then no other way except looking for it in junk yard and i dont know if AGS units are available in junkyard or not?

Suzuki's customer care representatives are as good as nothing.

Kindly see the revised calculations above. For Alto VXR, the additional amount being charged by Suzuki for old bookings, i.e. 38K seems appropriate.

y r u removing FED from old value, there was no FED added in previous value of car.

as i mentioned earlier, current value i.e. 1523000 and take 2.5% which comes 38075 pretty close
