Why the hell everything about buying a car is somewhat related to re-sale??
Why ppl treat car as an asset??It could be necessity,or luxury but shouldn't be treat as an asset.
And lastly,As i read in someone's signature.resale wont save u in case of an accident.

Bottom line : buy it and enjoy it.

Bro, for the most of us here, a car IS actually an asset! We can't afford to keep it as a hobby or fun. And resale is important in Pakistan as cars do lose their quality/prices very quickly here. It is rather advisable to sell out your brand new car after 5 or 6 years so that an option to buy another new car is open. Everyone here would agree that Resale Value is the fourth most critical point in selecting a car, first two obviously are price, looks and safety.

As for Sunny, I have kept this car for over 6 years now. And to be honest, I found it to be the most reliable car I ever had. It is strong, luxurious, stylish and a great ride.
So as most of the members have already mentioned, if you plan to keep this car for more than 5 or 6 years, go for it. If you want to change your car in a year or so, you'll probably find it hard to sell, and that too with a notable loss.

Ppl buying car for hobby and fun don't care about resale.As for the rest,they buy car out of necessity,which can b family or neighbor.It's a generic trend here that everything is considered as an asset if there is a demand for it.
Sir g,except few cars,no car looses it's price,rather they go up.e.g. Mehran,cultus,civic,xli etc
And resale it 1st most critical element here in PK when buying a new car and safety has lowest priority,If it hadn't then mehran sale would have been lowest.

I just talked with a nissan owner and he said that he wanted to sale his car but now no more .Instead he is selling his city and buying another automatic nissan .I for sure not in mood to sell a car in next 4 years unless i find some cash problem .

although i m a huge JDM fan, i wud not recommend u to go for a sunny. its better to buy a mint 1.6 lancer GLX instead from the market, it wud cost u cheap as well and is a bette car than sunny. the interior of sunny is dull, and the rear seats are extremely tite. we bought a lancer 05 GL after extensive survey and test drive of both lancer and sunny...please consider it

I liked the interior of sunny its pretty classy and also a bit executive style.
Never sat in the rear seat so will nt tlk about that but its damn comfy in the front.

Resale? what resale? A car should be bought for the purpose it is built. AND NISSAN SUNNY is one solid, reliable, comfertable car - indeed best value for money. Drive it for a few years, keep it clean and you will find a Nissan enthusiast willing to pay you the right amount of money. It only happens in Pakistan where people make substaintial premiums after molesting their cars for several years in the name of resale. If you want to enjoy a trouble free and comfertable ride go for Nissan, if you want to make premiums, invest in mutual funds.

Bro! If u wanna keep it for say 3-5 years do go for it. It is a wonderful car; almost Japanese. However, go for the ABS version.

as a privileged owner of two sunnys i wud also suggest u to go for da sunny as every1 did....i hav personally used each and every model of sunny starting frm 1988 till 2007 and believe me its da best buy....i never felt sorry for buying a sunny but really felt sorry for buying a corolla xli 2010 which m tryin to sale now and buy a sunny super saloon 2010 instead.

so buy1 for a trouble free life

if you want to buy a car then go for sunny bro suzuki and corolla xli especially are not cars they are just piece of junk sold to ppl of pakistan as we pakastanies have not seen or driven other cars in rest of the world so we donot know about safety and other issues of the cars

I own a 2007 sunny......and i am very happy i made this decision....
As other people have recommended, if u want to keep it for atleast 3-4 years.....u should definitely go for it.

I searched Corolla , City and Sunny 2008 - 2010 models Not a single owner of Sunny is interested to sale his car it means that Sunny owners are satisfied with their cars
