I recently visited two main windscreen dealers at Montgomery road Lahore i.e. Madina and Waqas. Anyone please advise me which dealer is more suitable for replacing windscreen.

Madina is better. Look for Fuyao glass at 786 screen. Which car windscreen you're looking for ?

I am looking for honda civic exi 2005 model. As I remember 786 dealer on Montgomery road used to deal in suzuki parts but this was long ago. Maybe he has started to supply other cars parts. I don't think 786 dealer is specialized in windscreen sale.

They are stocking fuyao windshields so do check up with them. Also you can look at Mian screen , Punjab screen.

Perhaps Fuyao is a chineese brand. Original honda civic 2005 windscreen has a light green tint on exterior surface which makes it darker and thus sunlight rays filtered and reducing load on A/C. Furthermore, it gives a beautiful look. Is there any method to check that new windscreen tint look is exactly the same like original. Someone told me that its better to change screen at shop as its easy to match it with your original screen and if it not found up to mark then you can change and select other piece without wasting time. Please give me further advice.

Fuyao is an OEM Chinese brand . It's the OEM manufacturer for Audi BMW Tesla GM Range Rover Toyota Suzuki Honda etc to name a few. I'm certain that fuyao glass will be technically superior both tech wise and efficient then what was installed back in 2005 since the advancement of float glass , coatings , machines and automation. In USA insurance is most likely to install Fuyao glass costing a whopping $500-600. Thus if you're getting Fuyao definitely go for it .

hi , man i visit Shan Wind screen , they work on my car and i am 100% satisfied they are really professional, When i discussed about this Car and show him picture of the car, He remember and Said, This is not our fault , he told me story of this car, its was very interested, Car owner by self break it, on throwing cold water on it in the month of June, while he came for ATM, Brother i have car business and work with him 1000 time , we never face this kind of problem, ,, We should accept our fault, thanks for every one, these are my views.

He is good man , i visited him with my BMW 2005 model, screen was in very bad condition, Every body advise me to change screen, The Cost of screen was 120000 Pkr, Shan Wind Screen owner checked and said , I can solve , He got Rs. 6000 From me and solved the problem, I pray for him, Because He save my Rs. 1,20000/ these are my views and exp.

??/?? I m the owner, Who Said I threw water on the windscreen, I went to the ATM, used a wet Rag to clean the screen, sat in the vehicle, started it and the screen shatterred.

Please get the facts straight.

Can you please ask Shan ke where would i acquire the cold water in June/July to be able to throw on the screen.

Anyways this is an old post and i was a quiet unhappy with his attitude. He polished my screen, I left his workshop, stopped by an ATM, picked up a damp rag to clean the windscreen, got in the vehicle & started it. As soon as i moved, the screen bursted with a big pow and you see the outcome.

Whats in the past is the past, what happened has happened. Just leave it at that. I am not interested in any calrifications, we shared this post for the learning of the masses, shared our experience. I am sure Shan windscreen has helped a lot of people and saved them money, but not in my case, He charged me 3,500 for polishing, which ended up shatterring within 15 minutes of me leaving his shop.
