That Morphy Richards sticker on back bumper is so period correct for the car nostalgic. Great project mate, try to save it going forward, this thing is rare.

How is engine condition, please post an engine bay picture as well. Also, why u needed a new front cut?

The engine is still reliable. Though there is a slight oil level drop on driving over 200 km. The mechanic has dignosed a possiblilty of slight leakage of the oil seals :'(. Nevertheless, I have taken the car at around 130 kmph on CNG and AC 'ON' under 3300 rpm, on coastal hihgway a few weeks back.

The nose cut was purchaed as a good deal in hand. The Head lights needed replacement and costed around Rs. 8000/- (genuine Accord). Out of the deal I got the front garnish (Rs, 4,000/-), Radiators (in reusable condition Rs. 4,000/-), Fans (Rs. 3,000/-), Power Steering fluid Reservior (Rs. 2,000/-), the piping for power steering (Rs. 2,000/-), The coolant reservior (Rs. 500/-), Front Bumber (Rs. 3,500/-), the fuse box (Rs. 2,500) and other items for free. the parts have been kept for use in future. The nose cut with all the usable parts removed was resold for Rs. 6,000/-.

Great project. One of the very few manual versions i've seen in this model. It's always good to see a classic restored to its original condition, as it's not only money but the amount of time and effort involved in finishing such projects. Hope this classic gives u lots more years of smooth driving pleasure. Best of luck!

And your car is beautiful, very well done mate. I was actually gawking at your car and just noticed those Corollas in that picture. Where did you get the work done btw?
