Prado is not a real LC. only LC is LC...

If you can afford a dent in ur head and ur pocket then you can go ahead with Range, otherwise for resale, reliability and peace of mind, nuthing better then the LC. Toyota's r built to last..... Its not as if I'm a Toyota ONLY lover but its a fact. When I was myself looking for a Range I was told NOT to get it by the importers, dealers and even friends who owned it. The biggest prob with them is their shocks and electrics....... Be honest guys, read any reviews about the reliability and you'll know what I mean. Thaz my opinion but atleast for Pak I'd still say LC & full stop.

Don't mix it with LR Defender:) Defender is world's best suv for EXTREEEEM OFF ROADING:)

Range Rover is comfortable and powerful suv with advance features. but if we compare it with LC (NOT Prado) then LC is more relaible and easy to mantain(Y)

while you can't replace LC with DEFENDER.

true.. defender is the same hardcore dabba which toyota used to be.. which it used to be 4 decades ago... Prado is the match of Discovery while LC for the Range rover... FJ for Defender... and out of 3-- toyota scores 2/3..

the new FJ is setting new standards and if Defender doesnt advnces itself.. then oon toyota will be 3/3..

well the 5.7 L cruiser is a fast amchine but considering the built quality of Range rover and the Fact that its British will surely make it superior to Land Cruiser coming to facts range rover sport 4.4 l supercharged : land cruiser 4.7 l 510 hp (2010) : 310 hp 624 Nm torque : 400 something 0-100 km/h 7.2 sec :7.4 i guess range rover is better! i think :s

First Of All, The Supercharged RR Is 4.2, Not 4.4 Liter.

Secondly, I'd Prefer The Reliable Toyota LC Any Day Over Range Rover. My Cousine Bought A Range Rover Sport HSE ( 4.4 Liter Non SC). It Has Done 50k KM's to Date But It Has Been A Severe Pain In Arse Ever Since They Bought It. First Of All, At 10k KM's, Its Steering Mechanism Broke Open WHile On The Move. Allah Saved My Cousine From A Disaster! Secondly, Its Tie Rods Broke Two Times. Thirdly, Its Brakes Are Rubbish And The Wear Away Very Very Fast.

Those Were The Mechanical Problems. Overall, That Car Is Not What People Think Of It.. The Seating Capacity Is Of 5 And Even 5 Are Cramped Up In That Monsterous SUV. The Interior Does'nt At All Give A 10 Million Rupee Look. Its All As Normal As Any Other SUV. Perhaps It Has Some Very Good And Intelligent Off And On Road Capabilities, But OverAll, That Car Is Not Upto Mark. Its 4.4L Engine Gives The V8 Growl Just Till 3k Revvs. Above It, You Can Merely Hear The V8 Whereas The Land Cruiser's V8 Is VEry Loud. Well The Sound Factor Depends Upon Taste But Still, Duh!..
