Here is the DIY for the fuel pump:
TOOLS REQUIRED: To start with, get a minimum of the following tools: A big flathead screwdriver with a coated tip, A 10mm and a socket wrench or a 10mm open ended wrench or your preference, Needle nose pliers, A pick. Also recommend an Airy area, necessary precautions with handling gasoline (highly flammable and damages skin). Get lots of towels and rags and try to have a very low fuel level.
Step one : Pull the rear seat bench up (towards the middle parts just opposite to the center of the front passenger and driver seat.) It wont need force, Just a light Tug upwards should release it. Once release pull up slightly, then ensure the seat belt buckles are fed through the holes so they don't hold the seats Finally lift up and away and it should just cleanly pull off. Be careful if you have rear heated seats in which case u will have a connector to disconnect on the under side of the seat towards the left (driver side in my case). Removing the seat bench, place in a safe and dry place, u do not want the foam to crack or lose shape.
Step two Get the sound insulation out of the way just lift up gently.
Step three Get a 10mm and open the 5/6 10mm plastic nuts going around the plastic fuel pump cap, be sure to notice which way the arrow is pointing on the plastic. The lip goes back on only one way.
Step four use needle nose pliers or a pick to remove the electrical connection from the pump, do not touch the fuel line (BLACK CONNECTION HOSE) as it is highly pressurized. It will not be a good day if you remove it.
STEP FIVE Go to the front of the car and start it up for a few seconds to drain the low pressure system. this happens because of the electric connection plug you previously disconnected. Don't run the car for longer then a few seconds or you risk causing damage to your high pressure fuel pump by starving it of fuel.
Step six Now it's time to disengage/remove the fuel hose, for this u pull forward on the white retaining clip on the back of the connection (you pull back on it, it is just under the bent 90 degree part of the tube). once the white retaining clip is pulled outwards, it will stay in this position, you just need to push the connector downwards and push the white button part on the opposing side of where you opened the retainer, it'll free up the hose and you should be able to pull up. It should release a small amount of fuel so have a rag handy (depends on how successful the last step was)
Step seven, now your fuel pump is fully disconnected, take a screw driver and a hammer, highly recommend getting a screw driver with a plastic coated tip or using something like a cloth in between the two metal surfaces to ensure it doesn't spark, u want to tuern this ring counter clockwise to release it. this should finally release your pump assembly. Careful becasue as soon as the ring lets it go, the pump will jump up because it is spring loaded.
Step eight you just need to press a tab and disconnect a hose after pressing said tab at the bottom of the fuel pump housing. You can see it in the second last picture in the post above. after that just disconnect the one wire running into the tank for the fuel level sender dongle. Also remember to use very delicate hands as any pressure or force will break things. You need patience and gentle persuasion to get the housing out of the tank.
Step nine Once done all that, depending on if you have the whole assembly then you can just drop it in and connect the things in the reverse order and you are set or you can go ahead and disassemble further if you are going for an aftermarket higher rated system or return system, the hoses are already there just capped off for doing a fuel return setup.
