Yes its a great view. So far I have flown over Islamabad behind Quaid-e-Azam university (Now banned for flying because of so called security reasons), near Abbotabad, KhanPur and Thipra. Yea the most breath taking view was above khanpur.

Yes I always take my family with me. Allah ka shukar hay kay BV is also outdoor loving person. Warna masla he rehta.............
Here in Qatar the only outdoor fun we have is dune bashing and overnight camping in the Desert.

Yeah, its all about adventure and Pakistanis should attempt Paragliding, nothing too Daring about it. Here in U.S. Ladies and kids paraglide, ski, etc. all the time. Don't know why people in Pakistan are scared of Paragliding but ARE NOT afraid of real dangers.. i.e. dangerous driving, bombs and stuff.

Paragliding is very safe. More such things should be done and promoted. Islamabad needs more of such activities, as I notice in my last trip that there is hardly any activity in that city, other than driving to Daman-e-Koh or eating out in restaurants or just chillin at Jinnah Super Market.

There should be Hot Air Baloon rides, Paragliding from Margalla Hills straight down towards Faisal Mosque, or some other popular area.

Water and rollercoaster type rides or just Remote Air Plane flying, Bumping Karts, etc. There is alot of Potential in Islamabad and the people have Money to burn..

Their is a problem here. Our liberal/popular government is so scared of its public that they have banned any flying in/around Islamabad. We have a good take-off area at Pir Sohawa and behind Quaid-e-Azam university.

Also one of my friend was flying his RC and ended up having two military cars at his flying site for investigation.

the biggest problem we have is not having any support from Govt.

If we have race tracks, a lot of lives would be saved. If there are alternatives, you won't find all the young blood trying to be either SUZY, LINDA or LUCY at the chat room or wandering at Jinnah super trying to look cool by showing off cars/something else.

Inshallah by the end of January or early February on transfer basis.I will keep you informed. After all I will need company. What they say, two di*k heads are better than one.................

Will have all the weekends for fun. Flying, jeeping, hiking and camping.

Don't know about the situation for camping with family in northern areas.

Very nice and a gud way to spend ur vacation instead of banging on relatives doors and tell them that u r on vacations in Pak..
Anyways,about camping with family in Northern areas.well,i'm afraid here our marda-na-mentality works overtime to conclude that our women r choi-moui (either she is 120 pounds or 1020 pounds) and can't cope with harshness of camping.On the other hand,our women are not very far behind in doing nakhra's to such trips,they want every available facility at the camp site which they have at their home.So the bottomline is,I haven't seen much ppl who take their families along on camping trips(although they themself go north almost every year) especially in far north e.g. deosai,naltar,nanga parbat base camp etc etc.
