I have never experienced the ABS light on/off problem.

The VTEC Seal leak is a common issue with R18A which happens after the engine has run for 100,000+ km. Just get the seal replaced. Honda 3S dealerships are well versed in this issue. Just take the car there. They will replace the seal in a few hours and the leak should stop then. If it does not then some other engine seal is leaking. 3S dealerships should be able to diagnose correctly and replace. As far as seals are concerned please dont SAVE any money. Only get OEM seals no matter how expensive they are.

My reborn was giving satisfactory fuel average a while ago ~ 700 km ago, but after a change of air Filter ( Genuine by Honda Classic Dealership), the engine was throttled and average dropped to barely 7, 8 km/lit within Islamabad (Motorway, and 80% highway driving).
Changed the Air filter, installed aftermarket and engine response returned BUT fuel economy remained same ( 8 - 10 km/lit max) ~ 300 km ago..

Got it tuned (MAF cleaning, tappet, Throttle Body Cleaning, spark plug cleaning (NGK Iridium Tip 50,000 km used), Fuel Air mixture ratio reset by OBD Scanner) 100 km ago (yesterday)...
..
Now Problems experiencing after tunning:
high idle ( 900 rpm), excessive engine braking (car does not disengage gear when coasting), engine feeling heavy and not 1000% smoothly changing rpms, and average is still 8 km/lit on 90% Highway driving at 80 - 130 km/hr speed... .
.
What can be the solution?
1. ignition coil check? ( just got them changed 10,000 km ago).
2. or the car will reset itself within a week? (how many kms?)
..
Dont have CatCon and issue is sudden, related to only Current or Air flow in my opinion.
*When the coils were new, they gave good average.. and the average was good till installing Honda's Air filter.
**Fuel system checked entirely.

disconnect MAF and drive around. Does it improve the response?

Disconnect the battery and re connect it after 10-15 mins

check if reset fix your issues.

I think its bad tappet setting.. Because alhamdoLILLAH the car is behaving 90% normal/old times but slight variations/hiccups remaining..

Hello.. My problem is same, Car need suspension overhaul + steering repair/change.?
So where can I find genuine parts ( that are NOT china made).?
Basically I will go to Honda Classic (I-10, Islamabad).
And on internet i came to know by a company website that the parts of Honda Toyota were being made there in batches and sold to both ( + other) companies according to order (that was about filters, no idea about metallic parts)..
So from where does our Honda Atlas and Honda 3S dealerships get their parts?
OR can I ask my relatives in UK to send me suspension parts, I mean is that route feasible?

You can buy genuine and official Honda parts from their official 1S seller in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. Just like we have Honda Sugoi here in Lahore which only sells official, original and brand new parts.

Hello Guys

Most likely I will soon be buying a Reborn Prosmatic 2011-12, currently searching for a great condition low mileage car.

My current ride is Civic 2000 6th gen Manual ( keeping it since 2000)

Very strangely every Reborn is under or just over 100,000 KM driven and nobody has a service history. This clearly tells me that odometers have been reversed.

Is there some other way to verify the actual mileage ? Does ECU keeps a record of the mileage or it's just in stored in the cluster only ?

Any other useful tips will be greatly appreciated.

Aoa, this is the first time im writing here in Blogs. Well i have a Civic 2010 Oriel Pros. I am facing an issue that in the morning while i am setting off for work the car gear shifting is lagging alot but after driving it for a few KMS i stop the car and turn off the engine for like 20 secs n then turned on the car surprisingly the gear shifting was smooth as new. Happened for two consecutive days.

Note: I have installed paddle shifters, multimedia steering and cruise control in my car as well and everything functional.
Can anyone guide me like what could be the problem as i believe this is some electric fault not mechanical.

Abidoon sir . I am facing engine problem . My car is consuming engine oil when i drive 300 km . Im using havoline oil . Mechanic is recommending to change the whole engine . And there is alot of knocking sound from engine. Sometimes it get overheated . What should i do,? . Im little bit upset . And also facing steering seal leaking problem .

My Honda Reborn used to do 9-10 kmpl within city with AC.

Now the average has dropped to 6 kmpl.

What could be the issue ? Catalytic Converter was recently cleaned.

Should i go for Engine Tuning ?

Aoa, I am facing a very weird sound from the AC compressor in my reborn 08, the cooling is mint and works fine, the compressor doesn’t trip unless the targeted cooling is achieved and i feel no engine hesitation while using the AC as well, a very squeaky and loud noise, can it be the AC clutch ? Also whatever the problem is how can it be solved and what will be the incurring cost ?

It can be belt alignment or worn out belt. Check with nearest ac workshop.
