You cannot trust this way of measuring fuel efficiency. it has a difference of 1-2 kmpl. The correct method is to fill tank to the max using auto stop feature on medium speed and after 100km + drive refill from same pump and then calculate.

While driving and releasing accelerator, i can achieve 40kmpl on an altis 1.6 too lol

well, but he has taken the mileage of a 20 km distance, and that too in city. so its like, i can get my GLI do 17+ over islo expressway too, but i have the envy for prosmetic if its giving us 18 (no matter how is he driving). we can save money and buy prosmetic too it means. last time i dropped the idea of civic was that i thought that its heavy on fuel and i drive a lot.

Sir, it totally depends on the area where you are driving, the kind of traffic, the road conditions, the relief of road and most importantly the driving style. If the same person drives Honda city manual on same route, I am sure city will do around 22. As per my experience, civic has an advantage of cruise control which saves a lot of fuel actually unless you find an uphill patch.

I have a few times experience, it fills up from empty down with around 5000-5500 Rs fuel and easily goes from Islamabad to Lahore and back without displaying low fuel warning again for another 100 km. So you can say roughly 700-750 kms in 49L fuel on highway.

Within city, it does nearly 580-630 kms depending upon driving style and stop n go moments. Prosmatec Transmission.

Don't mean to sound rude or harsh but guys comm'on ,,, this is 9th gen civic forum and we are still calculating and giving mileage figures based on fuel price to km s driven ,,, realllyyy ???? with fuel prices changing every fortnight this is very inaccurate ,,, a car s mileage is always based on a combination of factors and its always told in km/ltr or Mpg ..... The main factors being driving style, engine, tyre pressure, quality of fuel and fluids, clean air filter, and the list goes on .... Now, coming back to 9th gen mileage figures, I can only share my own personal experience with you guys,, I have manual trim and as of now driven 13k ,, oil changed at 1k, 5k and 10k ,, using mobil 1 fully synthetic and hi octane 25 liters in each tank , here are the mileage details for me ..... Within Lahore city 13-16 km/litre ( variation due to how you drive ) , on motorway it totally depends on the speed you maintain ... 110-118 kmph it gives 16km/ltr, 120-128 kmph it gives 14-15km/ltr, 130-140 kmph it gives 13-14 km/ltr, 140-160 kmph it gives 11-12km/ltr, when I maintained it at 180 kmph for a few minutes in top gear it was giving 9km/ltr ..... so there it is, my experience of this car till now and m very very satisfied by its performance AlhamdoLillah

No one is arguing here bro, a brother wants us to share the experience with this car, because in the near future he might plan an upgrade from 1.3L to 1.8L.

With the current inflation in our country, I do understand fuel economy matters a lot to some of us and yet on the other hand, others care the least about it.

Top speed attained on M2. I was able to maintain the speed at 205 km/hr. One of my best friends DrZAC was with me

Totally agree bro. We should always give fuel consumption stats on the basis of, how much it travells in per unit of fuel.
