It will also be much better to drive, 190 hp and 380 nm of torque and that too from a hybrid motor will be far more exciting than Cross's 0-100 of 11+ seconds.
Thank god the Hev doesn't have the unrefined DCT, and other than the suspension and dealership network, I see no reason why any person, well, any person who isn't as stoic as stones would chose Cross over this.
The amount of cope for Toyota fanboys is funny to me, its the same as these very forums have witnessed Civic XI fanboys try to criticize Sonata.
Don't get me wrong, I've been in and around Toyota's forever, from "protocol" to getting stuck in a protest, to hitting the limiter at 180, to being on two wheels, to even having one arrive on behalf of General Asim Munir lol. But I can subvert my love for Toyota to realize that the Cross is relying solely on the blissfully ignorant customer and its soft suspension, and of course, they made sure to add airbags and an electric seat to give it an illusion of luxury.
Also that "hard earned money" argument loses foundation when a car is touching 1 crore, particularly when there are no major problems such that you would need to spend an unconceivable sum of money resolving them, and besides, both are hybrids anyways.
Don't know why I wrote this, and now I realize this is coming off as pure hatred against the Cross but eh my 2 cents I guess
