The driver side ventilation fan didnt work. Was a really simple fix that unforutnately Haval techs couldnt figure out. Fixed it myself. Post on PW about it as well. Haval Techs wanted to open the entire wiring harness to the fan controller under the passenger seat to the Head Unit/ ECU which i thought was a bit excessive. Brought the car home, put the trusted multi-meter to work and an hour later figured that wire was in the wrong slot! That was it!

Apart from that nothing major. Sometimes Android Auto bugs out. But that also happens on other cars that have built in AA. Sometimes, if you have a USB, the Head Unit thinks it is ejected when it actually is not, but it is momentary, the HU fixes it itself. Their are some noises from the near the roof, but that I have also felt in almost all cars with a huge panoramic sun roof.

What else? Sometimes If you change the transmission very rapidly from R to D, a loud "thud" is heard. Wont call it a fault but it is what it is.

Whats the button for under the rain sensor in the panel where cabin lights and panoramic roof buttons are, the button is at the very end in the panel, the right most one. I saw it in Haval H6 hev at showroom??

Is it built in dashcam??

That is likely the light control button linked to the car doors. It has a car symbol with a open door. the HEV or any haval sold here for that matter do not have a built in dash cam. A USB type A port is provided behind the Rear view mirror to attach a dash cam

And if you have an older dash cam which comes in most jdm cars that takes power from 12v lighter socket ,just order a Mini USB B to type A cable , Like I did

I think you're referring to the dome light control. If you keep it on, the cabin lights turn on when the doors are open. If you turn it off, lights don't react to door open/close.

I have booked H6 AWD variant. Saw a video for launch control in H6 hev local assembled, is there launch control in h6 2.0 awd as well? Test drive wasn't available so couldn't verify, and the sales guys are ignorant of most features

It likely does. Youtube Car Expert H6 AWD or H6 2.0. They have very good videos on all GWM Haval variants incl. the Jolion HEV facelift 2024. It is an Australian Channel and the Haval cars we get here are nearly 100% the same as theres (the HEV doesnt have heated seats or steering in Pakistan), but otherwise they are bascially similar cars.

HEV has launch control, 2.0 doesn't.

2.0 AWD doesn't have launch control. However, it's 0-100 km/h is faster than the HEV because the HEV is only FWD and all that extra torque during launch goes to waste instead of powering the rear wheels.

Haval 2.0T AWD does not have launch control but is the quickest in 0-100 and potentially 1/4 mile from all H6, Jolion cars. Even with H6 HEV using launch control, 2.0T AWD is quicker off the line. In terms of value for money, 2.0T AWD is the best of the bunch in my opinion.

I've heard there is a delay in haval h6 horn , like when its pressed there is 1 sec delay then it sounds, that would be quite annoying , has anyone fixed it? does changing the horn fix this delay?
thinking to order these and change horn first thing after I get my car

I recommend testing it out yourself first. Also, many h6 come into my shop, and yes ~ I can confirm many customers complained about it NOT having onboard memory and a horn delay of around 500 ms to 900 ms, rounded off to 1 second. Again, test it out yourself first ~ before purchasing anything.

IIRC, changing the horn did fix the problem ~ I think the horns were located under the front bumper, beneath the left and right headlight. Also brother, ensure the warranty isn't voided. I'm not sure of haval's policies either, whether changing the horn voids the warranty or not . Congrats on your purchase brother ~ May Allah give you more.

Edit: These were the experiences & reviews of my customers, I can not fully confirm anything as I haven't tested it out myself.

True, but it's best to ask the respective dealership. Btw, my jaw dropped when I saw the list. Always buy/purchase such items after the car has arrived, but it's okay I can understand the hype.

Here are some additional tips

~ MUST get interior ppf tpu protection, will keep your interior new ~ it can easily be scratched up.
~ Get mudflaps ( will protect of from mud & rust )
~ Get a parachute or micro-fiber top cover ( microfiber is always the way to go ) but it's hard to put on ...
~ Try this air freshener ( Areon Gel black crystal ) it's one of the hot selling perfumes in my shop. We have sold over 20,000 or more pieces already.

Which gsm?!? I would recommed using something which is around 400-600 GSM, especially for haval.

interrior cleaners

Never spray interior cleaners directly onto the dashboard, or whichever part you're cleaning. Spray it directly on the cloth, and wipe with the cloth so that the polish/cleaner spreads evenly.

So not too long ago, after making a very hefty full payment for my h6 HEV I was left wondering how much registration would cost me, looking at my bank balance and doing some mental calculations scratching my head.

Didn't really get adequate response back then so now i'll post exact figures for my 2024 h6 HEV for convenience of others.

Registration cost for isb is Rs 249,789 + Rs1470 (Smart card fee)
