  1. i dont think this guage is connected to dispenser, i believe its from actual compressor unit.

  2. Even all the fittings in your car are test at 400 bar pressure. So pretty much safe there. CNG filling station has way better specs and most of them are using fittings that are imported from UK.

  3. As far the mileage i am surprised, I would understand if the performance got better but i don't think that should effect your mileage too much. Sometimes with high pressure more gas gets filled in to your CNG tank and of course you pay more for it too.

Next when you fill up at this gas station please check your car CNG system gauge. lets see what is the pressure there when tank if full all the way.

The SHELL station at Baharia blew up because of a suzuki daba blew apart and the pieces shattered the halogen bulb in roof-top causing petrol dispenser catch fire.

CALTEX fuel station with a CNG dispenser - u said it well.

by Ogra Law CNG dispenser & compressor room shall be minimum of 200 feet away from fuel dispenser & underground liquid fuel tank.

There is no way CNG cylinder bank in storage compartment will blew apart unless.... sabotaged.

before we go into any lock-horn situation visit a dedicated CNG station and observe carefully the storage bank (room) while cng is filled in ur car. several automatic safety valves are in action.

i hardly get 200 pressure in Peshawar but i seen some pumps on GT road isb to peshawar they maintan 250+ pressure which is a hazzard

at first statement u say its wrong then u fill up your car n go for a trip...kia ye khulla tazaad nahin ?

i dont think its an issue.its just filling pressure.after filling confirm the pressure from your vehicle guage which should not exceed 200 bars.

There was no problem in guage of dispenser. my vehicle covered extraordinary distance in one cylinder.

Yes. i paid more than the normal amount.

Now i dont refill my vehicle from this station because it is a Hazard.

Drivers of 1C route Hiaces prefer to fill gas from this station.

Station is Al-Rahman CNG Station, Haidri Chowk, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. (From saidpur road towards commercial market).

I think That is ok, because all the cylenders have tested on 400 bars so why we donot fill 300 bar in our cylenders.
For commercial vehicles they use to prefer that type of filling station but they fill my cylender 3/4 not complete............so it is safe

A good Cylinder may have limits to bear 400 Bars pressuer but the problem is how many of us have got periodic cylinders testing which is recmomded to be done every five years? even source of most of the new cylinders available are unknown there are many cases in past as well, that people selling old/scrap CNG cylinder after getting them repainted or low recomended pressure cylinders being installed by people. etc. so in such environment, crossing limits is serious hazard for sure So such cases must be reported to concern authorities & a sensible person should get away from such CNG stations. Just getting less amount of gas from these stations is not wise decision as 1 may safe his car/cylinder from being explod but wat if cylinder of any other vehicle got exploded while being filled.

Caltex fuel station has CNG, visit sakhi hassan and near sohrab goth.

200 feet away from fuel dispenser ? No sir, 200 feet k pooray CNG pump nahi hain yahan ... 200 feet away kahan se hongay !

Lastly, prevention is better. Its only economics or else nobody wants sit in a car with a bomb in the trunk !

The lust of getting money in short time is taking us no way out of trouble. Every merchant or service person wants to get the most with least cost and time. This shatters the safety to the extent of disaster.

We need to abide by the law as otherwise the explosions and accidents will be a common sight in coming years, as we have increased the CNG use in last 8 years the cylinder must also be having a service life (even if tested every 5 years) and after this it must be discarded.

May Allah save us from disaster.

sometimes the CNG stations got tempered their gauges to show high pressure, because some USTAAD LOG want more pressure in CNG station and prefer to go there.

actual pressure may be low. but you paid more which mean this station has more pressure.

I saw those kind of pressures in Peshawar and on GT Road some Stations but in Islamabad nothing more than 160 but never been to CNG Station since driving on Diesel

Always follow OEM (origional equipment manufecturer) instructions. Manufecturer and the agency who certified the equipment is responsible only if the equipment is being used under the specified limits.
Test are performed in the labartories under certain conditions (e.g. temprature).
As the temrature rises above the design temrature pressure rating reduces, also the gas pressure inside the cylinder varies with respect to temprature changes.
Frequent filling of cylinder under high pressure has its own effect.
Never put your life in risk.

that pressure gauge is not woking properly thats why showing hihg pressure
