May be the prevoius owner replaced the tank with a smaller one

This is not the issue... The original OP and my car both have the same issue so its hardly unlikely that the tank got replaced .
Brother finally its good to see someone driven Prosmatec close to 300K.
Last time i checked it was 46L with reserve in both my 2001 EXi Prosmatec and 2005 VTi Prosmatec so it is pretty much the 50L as written in owner's manual.
The real question is the fuel economy which depends greatly on condition of car.
Normally 2005 Civic Prosmatec goes 70-80 km / cng tank Manual goes 100-120km on city / highway.
Petrol average is 7-8 km/L for Prosmatec and 9-10 for Manual. Naturally the VTi is a gas guzzler and drinks fuel like anything sometimes even more than Reborn.

on petrol with soft foot 10kmpl when tunning was done long long ago,after the tunning n all i didnt checked but loved flooring 
Brother I am not referring to hypermiling when you maintain 3,000 RPM and see Mehrans and Alto overtaking you from left side.
On a Full tank (36Ltr is the max before the light comes up) in a 2003 Civic Oriel Automatic. I am only getting 300 KM before the lights comes up again .

On last Sunday....(On motorway)..filled from pindi saddar (panj sarki shell) upto brim n refilled from motorway near faisalabad interchange, again upto top from total petrol pump...kept speed 100-105km/h.. Average i got was 18.58km/l....civic 01 Exi, total 144k driven.
On my way back from that petrol pump to khurlianwala and then back to isb it gave 15.63 km/l. It is to be noted that this tym car was driven in Second gear for almost one hour..as it was going through a v v rough road while going to khurlianwala.

i filled the tank of my 2000 2.0D with 39lit of diesel from Hascol near motorway chowk rwp.Travelled to lahore,driven 50km there,returned in the same tank.
4600 worth of fuel.745kms travelled.
average 19.1kmpl.im happy with that

guys surprizingly my vti oriel 2002 model surprisingly gets filled up in 27-28 liters, i have been using it for about a year, if the low fuel indicator turns on then at most the fuel required is 28 liters.....i genuinely thought that it has a capacity of 35 liters......kindly help me in this regard. thanks
Honda's fuel guages are shitty. Some times my car gets full in 2o liter petrol only when 3-4 bars are left above empty n some times it sucks in same 20l when fuel guage is in the middle. Talking about same car

Seriously Man I had Exi Prosmetic which has a good feul average but a month ago i changed my car now i have vti manual gear Transmission and it's really a gas guzzler and sucked my pocket 
If you find any solution let me know, it will be really appreciated
