Finally got my HTC Touch HD!

@tramper: havent checked the bills yet, but as far as i remember the bluetooth was around US$50-60. @bilal: will be careful with the pouches..yeah, i read that on XDA too about the black marker. Try Format Factory, it is a very versatile convertor...i used its ipod touch settings. Some useful software that I am using: 1. Action Screen 2. Nitrogen Music Player (Waiting for launch of Kinoma FreePlay, it is the best and plays photos/music/video, but yet unsupported for HD) 3. SK Tools 4. Total Commander 5. Core Player 6. Google Maps 7. Facebook app 9. Nimbuzz 10. Wikipedia app 11. GSen (Also used Gyrator) 12. HD Tweaks 13. HD Power off/soft rest button 14.PPC Backup (sms, contacts, notes, calendar) 15. Funambol client (store your contacts on a server) 16. HD Wobble (try it, u'll love it)

When u install it, go to the "Program Files" folder in whatever directory u install , because apparently people complain that they can't find it, it's over there.

well....the software has been collected from various sites after spending a lot of time browsing, downloading and then installing. The most useful titles have been mentioned here for your reference. Some useful sites are ipmart and xda developers..

For the light sendor thing, try Pocketshield..its quite advanced with many options.

I will be more than happy to directly email any software u need directly via attachments.

The hardware is amazing, but the software/OS does not make full use of it.

In my personal view, the best use of this device is while watching movies...it utilises the screen beautifully, and the user experience is excellent.

have watched these so far:

Wanted, The Bank Job, and Valkyrie. All of them are good movies.

Try it, guys..u'll love it.

Hello Everyone!

I bought the Touch HD a few days back and since than i am struggling to make the GPRS and MMS working on my set. Can somebody tell me the setting for the GPRS and MMS settings for warid and where do i need to set them in in my HD. I would really appreciate a response from you guys out there. I do have the settings for Warid but i dont exactly know how and where to set them up.

Got mine yesterday from Hafeez Center Lahore! Bought for 50k, brand new set and genuine HTC (not the Orange one). Orange sets are used for a few minutes they are not brand new.

EDIT: Pouch and 8gb card included.

Farewell to you people, i have sold my HD and purchased a Nokia N97, i'm very happy with this device.. HTC Touch HD is an EXCELLENT device.. great screen and specs, i just needed a QWERTY keyboard and a good camera to complement my phone and a capacitive touchscreen.. N97 seemed to deliver that.
