Once upon a time, my Pakistan tour's cost in local transport was much lower than this one. It all depends on the situation, your budget, financial status, and the level of comfort you want at that time, for me bike was luxury at that time, so things and thinking changes with time

pakistan is still tourist heaven, as in other part of the world you can not even get a decent room in 80dollars, (22k Pak Rs)

It all depends on our "Priorities". I have traveled more than 25 countries including the whole Central Asian Route. Pakistan is expensive in terms of accomodation and transportation

I found it a bit surprising, as I have also traveled to more than 70 countries. Wherever I stayed or traveled, I found Pakistan to be much cheaper in comparison. However, perhaps your experiences outside Pakistan have been different or better from mine.

No one is getting their 36k Rs per month (which is 126 Dollar per month) its official minimum wage here. so 22k is still high price as per our purchase powers which are going down day by day.

80 usd will get you great rooms in many many far advanced countries than Pak which are 100x better than even 120usd rooms that you get in Pakistan.

Go to Southeast Asia for example. Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Eastern Europe.

Much better quality n cleaner rooms than the ones you get in Pak at cheaper rate.

I was comparing tourist destination hotels with those in Pakistan. We can argue about the comfort zone, but what might be a better zone for you might not be for me. I have been traveling for the last twenty-five years all around the globe, from Southeast to Southwest. The other day, I was discussing this with someone else. Later on, I tried to count all the countries I have visited—it was almost the whole world, except for a few countries. Whatever I said was based on my 25 years of experience; yours might be different from mine.

The countries I mentioned are tourist hotspots.

You cannot compare Western Europe or America with Pakistan.

Even comparison with Malaysia Thailand is not right as they are far advanced countries but just wanted to give people idea how high the hotel standards are there but come at less price than Pak hotels that are considered “good”.

I was able to find very nice clean hotels in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for under $50 USD per night. The quality of the rooms and amenities was great.
