Bad choice of oil. Most of the civic reborn owners have complained of oil reduction only after 3k kms use. i would recommend to change it ASAP and switch to mobil1, liqui moly or my favorite KIXX PAO green tin can. change after 7-8k kms.
What about Zic XQ?
i wass using havoline fromula lasted 4500 kms without any oil reduction so i was thinking of using this golden pack havoline as i am quite lazy on changing oil so i want the longest inteerval possible
thhis havoline lasted 4500 km very rough and tough most of the drives were 150 abovebut i dont want to use 10-30 as summers are approching so thats why want to change need help asap

Mate i dont trust ZIC oils. I used it in cultus 3 years ago. twice the oil happened to be fake and fried piston rings only after 2k kms. The oil became thin like water. I thoroughly examined the oil can and its seal was different as compared to original one. The company once introduced a scheme of awarding cash if you install their stickers on your license plate. I believe that a good company having good product does not need cheap advertisement and schemes to be successful. Their products quality speaks for itself. Switched to havoline 20w-50 back then with satisfactory results.
If you don't wanna spend much then go for KIXX. If you can afford 5k RS. or above oil change then go for better brands. Simple as that.
Scary to hear that, I used ZIC XQ this time o_O. I got mine from Authorized dealer so fingers crossed. Does Kixx have a website for pakistan?
I dont think so that they have their website in pakistan. But you can check out the global site. I have been using KIXX for 2 years now and it has never disappointed me. 20w-50 in mehran. 10w-40 G1 Synthetic in city and 5w40 PAO in civic. I even drove it for 10k kms once on qaim oil filter. But i advise against it and it was my laziness and stupidity. Although the oil proved to be reliable but you should change at max 8k kms. The guy from whom i get my oil changed showed me cut open local oil filter of qaim,guard and leppon. Among these 3 qaim was of the best build quality.
i will concider it but kikx company havent heard of it just thats why unsure abt it
Brother use use 5W50 Mobil 1 or if on budget than Mobil 2000 10W40 and it will serve you even in the heat of 40 degree celsius with no problems at all.
If Mobil1 not available then LiquimOly Synthoil 5W40 and MOS2 10W40 is also good.
