UPDATE 1ST SERVICE AT 1000 KM

I finally marked the 1000+ KMs in 20 Days, given the progress until now.

• Oil change cost me 9,000 PKR from highway DFSK service center.
• Oil filter and service charges 0 PKR
• Front Glass of Glory was bit with scratches and they replaced this under warranty.
• Average is getting better, but as per my understanding this SUV is not for the city with traffic
• Two more parts are under warranty and expected to be replaced in the first week of January 2024.

Overall cooperative staff and enjoying the ride. Keep you posted after a few more thousand KM to observe the difference after the first 1000 KM service.

GLORY 580 Pro - Fuel Average / Petrol Average

Today i had chance to visit Karachi, Sindh to Sanghar, Sindh. The up and down journey is almost 500+ KMs.
I refilled tank with 50 Ltrs of petrol including 10 liters of High Octane mix.

On digital meter this was showing me 9.3~9.5km/100 with AC as on throughout one side drive. Average Speed of 100KM to 115 KMs and some times 120-150KM/h.

But i have manually calculate petrol liters and Kms after refilling and this was on 9-10km overall during up and down journey of 500 KM.

Anyone experienced how much liters petrol or KM we can drive on orange light of petrol?

why there are so many scratches on the cluster. are you waiting for them to replace this in warranty.

UPDATE 5,000 KM OF GLORY 580 PRO

I started using the Glory 580 Pro on 10th Dec 2023 and On 31st Jan 2024, I marked the 5,000 KM completed. 1,000 KM tunning and 5,000 KM tunning are done.

• 1,000 KM tunning cost me 9,000 PKR, Replaced the Oil and Filter.
• The 5,000 KM billing is due today, will update once the bill is generated.

Given is the feedback.

1. Fuel usage Shell Super with 95% normal petrol and 5% high octane.
2. Fuel Average in City 7.5~8KM per liter max
3. Brake Lights and front glass issues were resolved timely and replaced by Regal Auto.
4. Fuel consumption on Motorways is high as well, and my vehicle shows an average of 10KM/L max on motorways with under 100 speed.
5. SRS airbag error appears and disappears several times during the ride. The complaint is raised for this issue.

Will update further after 10K experience.

Check your door side sticker. Glory's recommended tire pressure varies between 33~36 psi, depending on the tire size.
Maintain correct tire pressure in order to improve fuel economy.

Once I tried 35-36psi, and observed this pressure is making hard shock noises on potholes or the bumpy road. so i reduce that pressure for better drive. Will experience again above 32psi.

Crossovers are heavy vehicles. Try to maintain closest to manufacturer recommended tire pressure.
If you are not comfortable with 35-36. Then try 34 psi but don't go below 33 psi.

Fuel Hungry SUV!

After 5,000 KM I tried a long drive to Hingol Park, and surprisingly 80+ liters were consumed by Glory to complete 625 KMs.

6 persons in the car, 4 adults and 2 kids.
Worst ever fuel average I have seen.

• Fuel Avg in city 7~9 based on traffic and speed

• Fuel Avg out of city 9~11 based on 100 KMs/HR speed max, and fuel quality too.

• 10,000Kms cost me Oil Change = 9,000 Oil Filter = 2,850 Air Filter= 5,250 AC Filter 1,750 Tunning Charges 3,000

* Issue of AirBag sign and TPMS Sensor at the same stage, no response from DFSK team or no proper service center support. Eventually, this vehicle will be discontinued in the near time due to bad feedback.

Feedback 30,000 KMs of Glory 580 Pro

• Using this car in Karachi city. Experienced the short and long traveling from Karachi to Hyderabad, Umerkot, Mirpur Khas, Umer Kot, Lahore, Islamabad, and Naran Kaghan went very well apart from fuel consumption.

• This car won't give you good fuel average in a city like Karachi; you will get 7~9 max within the city on octane petrol. If some owner is getting a good average, they don't have a rush or route of traffic.

• Apart from fuel and issues from delivery, no new issue was found, perfect drive, and sold car.

Final feedback: if you can manage the fuel, you can get a used SUV at 4.8-5.0 million and forget to sell it, because reselling is tough, especially when the service centers are not offering good service.
