260Z was only offered for one year 1974, IMHO early Z's "70-72" are much sought after because they were lightweight. This one is a 1970 with Rebello built engine (www.rebelloracing.com). I know you are looking to buy one but in the mean time have a listen‎

As per my knowledge, the "260" in both two-seater and 2+2 form was offered from late 1973 to late 1978 when the "280ZX" was introduced. There was even a "280Z" for the US market. I myself owned a 1977 260 for a while.

The problem was rust bro..they all disappeared into thin air..plus the 260 front endI found was good copy of the e type.

I've had S30's with small block as well as rotary's but they just don't sound right for the car. I started a RB25 swap in my 72 S30 but with other projects that is on a back burner at the moment. I don't know if you had a chance to check out the YouTube I posted but nothing beats the sound of triple Webber's screaming... who needs a stereo:)

Well rust was the biggest problem with 60-70's cars from all corners with the exception of German.

No I haven't but will do. Speaking of engine swaps , I would like to do one on a 1983 280ZX turbo t-top. I find it to be a bit of a snail and want to give it some pep. What would u suggest?

Oh gosh lets see where would I start... Well if money was no object (yeah right in my case). 1, I would either rebuild the original engine locally and get a better after market turbo along with larger radiator. 2, Do SR20DET swap. 3, Talk to these guys Welcome to Rebello Racing these guys are one of the best (might be too much both in terms of money and effort). I am not an expert by any stretch of imagination but that doesnt stop me from dreaming:P

this car needs to be repainted as it had rust.

it dint have any shields in wheel arches.

it needs to be lowered by3-4 inches.
