Since you guys were racing with automatic tranny's... so whoever would have a quicker launch would've stayed in the lead despite the power differences as P/W ratio matters here aswell!!
But seeing this video, the only reason for the gap to be 1-2cars gap(as i see it) was the way you launched the camry.. You had a perfect launch as u launched it by reving it in Neutral(N) gear and then shifting to D....whereas, the Civic R18 guy just launched it in D(as in, he released the brake and gave full throttle)! So OBVIOUSLY you had a clear cut edge to take lead coz of the way u launched!!
Had the Civic been launched with a better/same way, surely it was a neck-neck tie competition! But still I'm surprised even with a normal launch the R18 still managed to stay on it tail!
wow. u saying i had a good shift just bcoz i put it in N and when about to drag i shifted to D..
lol well thats funny, i know im that much mature not to break the gear by doing this..
it was a normal shift, the gear was in D and when we started on 3rd horn, i pull up my foot from brake and pushed the acceleration, same way as civic guy did. there is a hell alot difference in power of the 2 cars. u cant compare both with each other.
if u see clearly i bet there was a difference of more than 3 cars at least to b honest. though i dont have any issues if u say it was a gap of 1 car hardly. and no buddy it wasnt on camry's tail. camry was continously giving the gap.
