Car Head unit FM not working after connecting USB MP3 Player

Dear All,
I have connected china USB+Card reader MP3 player to my head unit through audio shop but car FM does not working as it it shifted to installed mp3 player FM. I have discussed the matter with audio shop person before connecting but he replied that car FM can not work after adding MP3 player and he convinced me. Please can anybody help me that how Can i use car FM instead of mp3 player FM. I can not remove this player as my head unit does not have any AUX or USB port for external input.

Have u installed it in car?
If yes than remove that player and buy a new or less used cd player worth 2-3 thousand

How have you connected this to the head unit? If you have connected it to the FM input, which most shopkeeprs do...you head unit FM will not work....if so use the FM in mp3 pre....connect radio antena output to this Pre's FM input

Can you explain How to Connect radio antena output to this Pre's FM input?
You mean the main antena wire on the back of head unit? How this to connect in mp3 pre as there is no port for this antena?

These type of MP3 comes with small wires (half inch length), acts as antenna, connected to mentioned point. may it has been removed or absent. You can connect your antenna here.

If your head unit have AUX input, then connect to this MP3 out to AUX input of head unit other wise you have to compromise on head FM.

I have one last question in my mind that is if I cut-off the +12v wire (which powering the external transistor attached to head unit body of this MP3) , and install an ON/OFF switch to it, will head FM works when MP3 power down??? bcz I think that the internal two wires soldered is only for sound input. by powering down there will be no signal on these wires hence head FM may work. but plz somebody clear me as my head unit removal is very annoying for my own experiments.

Bro when they connect input to the FM, head units FM module is removed to prevent interference....i have myself done this mod...on kenwood casette player....dont know what was its model number....it was sometime ago...only way to make FM work is to solder wire to antena connector of mp3 pre and then then connect it to centre wire of antena cable...
but first make sure your mp3 is connected to FM input of head unit....other wise ignore all the previous explanations...
if your mp3 pre works when FM is selected from source of Head Unit then that means your mp3 is connected to FM input of head unit...

If your FM module has been removed then FM wont work even if you connect your input to CD decoding module....I am 100% sure that your FM module has been removed if you didnt face any problem of distortion when you select FM from head unit....

The audio shop man did not removed anything from head unite as i was standing there with him. he just soldered a wire with two contacts. Just nothing cut or removed. So my last question is still the same. can u plz clear that?

No head unit fm will not work unless you renove that mp3 completely
