Very interesting thread. I was reminded of so many food places that I frequented in my school days. Someone mentioned the deterioration in the quality and taste and I cant agree more. Back in the days, good taste was a given be it a posh restaurant or a road side joint. The road side vendors were generous at heart as well. Anyways, Thanks Nomi700 .
Do Try Pizza Time at 120-G, DHA, Lahore, doing a great job since 1996 and also Akram Tikka at Gulberg, next to Ghalib Market police station.

Bhai jee ye tu ap ne bajaa farmaya. actually "TASTE IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO GANDGEE" ksi b road side food point pe apko taste ziada mley ga similarly Safaan wala chowk k pas ek banda ha "Jatta daal wala" desi ghee and green chillies ka tarka lagata ha daal ko and its daal is awsome.must try this.reason ye ha k uski shop Gandey naaley se adjacent ha. ab koi tu baat ha us naaley me jo wo taste me contribute karta ha:P

Jatta dal wala is amazing in mozang adda. Spoted many high level advocates and officers at this Ganda Nala Bay waiting in que for Desi Ghee tarky wali dal topping with green chillies. Also in 90's there was a spot named HAJI salan wala near Mozand Adda who's only menu was Mutton and believe me a full plate of Mutton in Rs 50-60 was damn in demand.

Mozand adda ke pathory was also very yummy.
