Best Digital Blood pressure Monitor

I am looking for a Digital Blood Pressure Monitor, Does anyone know which one is the best n Accurate and where can I buy that one ?

dont buy the one which is used on wrist, they are not accurate as i bought one and return after 3 days because it was not giving correct readings.

Dont go for digital one. Just buy a mercury bp apparatus. Almost all the doctors use that bcaz of its accurate results.

Don't buy the wrist one, we got one from Japan and even that was not accurate. Buy the other digital BP apparatus and its accurate, take your measure while lying on the bed. We have the Omron M2 basic.

the automatic testers that clasp on your wrist are useless, the best is the oldschool mercury one.

Dont go for digital one. Just buy a mercury bp apparatus. Almost all the doctors use that bcaz of its accurate results.

You are right,mercury appratus is accurate.Don't buy digital.Checking B.P on mercury app is very easy,just ask anyone who knows how to check B.P and practice a couple of times and you can easily check B.P

there are very few digital models which have been internationally approved by the medical authorities ....

first google the right medical authorities in USA like we have PMDC in Pakistan then see what models they have approved or recommended .. my brother sent from one from US for my mother and it gives accurate reading and being used for 2-3 yrs don't remember the make or model or would have posted

i have a digital one which is used on wrist and id say its reading is nowhere close to actual one :S

I have used SwissTek's(Switzerland based company) Digital Blood Pressure monitors Models; ST201(Wrist type), ST202, ST203 & ST204(these being arm types), the accuracy of the wrist type model ST201 had a variation of 4 or so which is quite good let alone for a wrist type b.p monitor, and the arm types that i used had a variation of only 2!. I highly recommend anyone who has hypertension/high blood pressure to purchase SwissTeks B.p range as they are accurate, economical, Easy to use, and as a added benefit aesthetically unique & beautiful(it's one numerous awards which is labelled on the packaging). All the arm type b.p's have a WHO(World Health Organization) indicator to show you visually which hypertension stage you are at(normal, optimal, moderate, high or severe), they can also indicate if you have an irregular heartbeat(Arrhythmia). If there are two people with high blood pressure in the same household both can use and save there own data separately/individually without mixing up each others measurements/results.

All in all i would recommend the above mentioned brand of b.p monitors as they are one of the best digital b.p monitors in the market if not world! with affordable prices that competes with the worlds number one brand Omron, in my opinion it beats it since the accuracy is similar or a tad bit better & the fact it has extra features and more memory storage capability(Omron has 14 or so SwissTek has 60) plus there is no comparison in the beauty of SwissTek b.p monitors compared to Omrons simple dull design/look, though not important to the measurement/accuracy of the b.p monitor it helps you decide which one to buy if both brand are equal in quality you would obviously choose the better looking one. I hope i have helped anyone who needed to purchase a b.p monitor in Pakistan.
