3S-GTE stock is about 280hp at the flywheel and that too being front wheel (unless you run an all wheel setup) is a bit too much to be front wheel drive. You'll have some major issues with traction - Swapping a motor is never an issue but running it the way you want it to run is and it involves some serious cash to make it the way you want.
Just to give you some rough figures.
Motor: 150k
Swap, Oil, Pipes, Foundations, etc: 25k
All wheel setup: 60k
Interior: 120k
Exterior: 100k (Dent, Paint, Lights, etc)
Wheels: 30k
Tires: 60k - Considering tires now cost 12-15k each.
Coilovers: 30k
Engine Upgrades (fuel pump, fpr, afc, etc): 40k
Gauges, etc: 25k
Misc: 50k
I recently built one, that's how I know!
I'm sure I missed a few things still. Turns out to be around 700,000 PKR for all the upgrades to make it an actual GT. If I add up the strut / sway bars to make the Chassis stronger to withhold the power out of a 3S-GTE motor, you'd need 13 of them and each costs about $100 USD = 9,600 x 13 = 124,800 PKR for the struts / sway bars only.
Just like charades, people have gone bonkers on Corolla's with 3S-GTE's .. That's not the solution to have a fast car in my perspective.
3S-GTE does 8-9km/liter in city.
4E-FTE does 16-17/liter in city (Checked on my own 4e-fte).
Re-think the purpose of your build - You want to drag? Daily driver? Just for once in a while fun?
Shoot me a PM if you need any help.
Cheers.
