It depends on customer demand,
E.g. if customers stop buying these cars the manufacturer will stop selling them and offer some other variant.
Example is old belta, its called yaris sedan and sold with 1.5 lt engine and 4 spd auto in other markets because absolutely no one bought the cvt equipped ones in the same market.
