have u ever had a ride in evo... its not at all comfortabel.. a family person will never want it as a family car... its just a rally car for the road... and gallant on the other hand is a very nice , comfortable family sedan with all the luxiries in its class.. and this 3.8 mivec has a lot of torque.. so zippier to drive in city..

and then again evo produces such hig hp's caz of turbo and u have to keep it in the power band... driving an evo to its max is not an easy job....
racerf1 can comment on this in a better way...

That is actually the United States only model, the Galant that we have here is that Japan model which is exported everywhere, and that is the current one, while this one is made just for the United States.

And example is just like the Corolla, the Imported Corolla is the Made in Japan model which is different from the Export model, the one that we have here.

raashid bhai i once heard that the gallant had the smallest drag coefficient among cars.. it was the older shape one but i cant recall the model...

All i m sayin is that this car has very less pwr as compared to a normal 2.8L engine! The first thing dat cums to mind after hearing 3800cc is some where around 300+ BHP, whereas this has less than 230. I m not comparng this car with the evo i m saying that this car has less pwr than the evo's 2.0L n furthermore the evo tooo is a 4 door sedan!! being an AWD dosent mean that the car is RALLY bred! The evo wud definatly hav a better fuel cons. than this car(FACT). these are just my thoughts!

This car looks nice in person. Better than in the pics.

Mitsus however have very low resale due to high unreliablity. I won't mind one as a rental.

yeah 3.8 giving 230 seems less.. but take into account the torque figures also.. i dont know abt them but i am sure that the torque will be massive...
the evo is a very thirsty car.. the mr fq 400 was rated one of the most thirstiest car in 05.. the fconsumption figures dosent depends on the displacement of the engine.. it depends on the power.. and i think that if only the powerplant is considered then this 3.8 will be better average then the g63.. if the whole car is concerned than this might be lees economical car of the added weight of the luxery... and the evos road model is totally derived from the rally based varient... ther is no argument about it
and again saying that evo is not at all comfortable and the evo's g63 block is quiet difficult to handle cazz of the turbo lag...therfore driving evo ina city is quiet difficult..

i am a hardcore evo fan... but saying all this caz both cars are targetted at different customers and i think thewe cant compare evo and a gallant

zada torque sehat ke liye kharab hota hai!! having a lot of torque in yr car is not sumthing to b proud of, n this is sumthing which i m not saying! Its wht the experts say! plus baat ye nahee hai EVO MEIN RIDE LEE hai ya nahee! is tarha to mian bhi pooch sakta hun k tum ne galant mein ride lee hai ya nahEE:P:P:P:P

khair baat khatam karo mujhe ye gaaree bilkul nahee pasand hai aur na aae gee!! This according 2 me is a disgrace over MITSU! Plus mitsu ne aisee gaaree bana k kuch khaas achive nahee kiya! JUST LOOK AT THE REAR END MAN!!! a 10 yr old cud make a better car from the REAR!

yaar NASHIT bhai jaan!!!!!!!! TORQUE zada ho ga to gaaree apni hee jagha pe kharee ho k burnout detee rahe gee. acceleration pe buhat faraq parh ta hai......

@Ghuncha: Dekhlena! If there are two cars A and B, A is high on torque and low on BHP, whereas B is low on torque and high on BHP.........B is certainly gonna kick A's @$$!!!
And even if this car has a lot of torque, it dosent make ne sense as this car is UNDER powered!
