It seems the rain of crossover SUVs likely to continue in Pakistan. Earlier, the news of KIA Stonic was making rounds and now apparently, we are going to get another crossover. According to reports, Chinese company Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) is going to launch its car, GS3, in the local market.
The reports claimed that the company will start offering CBU units in November this year, while local assembly will start in next couple of years. So, we thought to bring the specs and features of this upcoming car, so that you can know about it.
Dimensions
The vehicle is 172-inch Long, 72-inch Wide and 65-inch High with 101-inch Wheelbase, making it almost equal to MG HS, KIA Sportage and Hyundai Tucson etc.
Engine, Transmission and Brakes
GS3 comes with 1495cc DC-VVT engine which produces 106hp and 141Nm torque. The engine is mated with 6-speed Automatic Transmission. And if we talk about brakes, the car has Ventilated Disc Brakes at front and Solid Disc Brakes at rear.
Exterior
The company offers Halogen Headlights with Height Adjustment feature. The Taillights are LED, while Fog Lamps are also Halogen. Furthermore, this upcoming SUV has 17-inch Alloy Wheels with Space Saver as Spare Wheel.
Interior
The first noticeable option is 8-inch Infotainment Touchscreen, while the size of MID is 3.5-inch. Then you have Media Steering for you convenience. The manufacturer, GAC, offers Leather Seats with 6-Way Adjustable option.
Safety
The car will have 6 Airbags with ABS + EBD + ESP. The other safety features are Parking Sensors, Rear View Camera, Cruise Control, and HBA + HHC + HDC + BSD. So, it means the car is going to be very safe and secure.
