Rajab Butt’s Toyota Prado TXL – Owner Review
Rajab Butt was caught red-handed driving his Toyota Prado TXL by PakWheels and decided to unwind together. That is what made his transition from a sedan to an SUV in just a matter of eight months.
Shift From Honda City to Toyota Prado TXL
Initially, Rajab had a 1.5 L Honda City, which he sold for Rs. 42 lacs. He then transitioned to a Honda Vezel, which he bought for Rs. 47 lacs. Later, he bought a 2021 MG HS, which he sold within two months. He ended up purchasing this Prado at Rs. 3.2 crores.
From childhood, he was fascinated with aggressive-looking SUVs, elevated driving postures, and, most importantly, the front fascia of a Prado that hints at a lion’s jaw.
Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Vs. Toyota Land Cruiser
Many of the readers would rather speculate about the differences between these two-off roaders. Here is a quick rundown:
Land Cruiser is typically larger than a Prado and offers premium luxury with advanced safety features, power, and performance in extreme road conditions. This giant takes power from a 4.6-liter V6, 4.0-liter V6, 3.5-litre V6 twin turbo, or 5.7-litre V8 engines.
The Prado offers a modern and sleeker outlook, drawing power from a 4.0-litre V6 or 2.7-litre 4-cylinder engine.
Different options like crawl control, adaptive cruise control, multi-terrain monitor, and radar depend upon the year of the model and trim levels, eventually leading to different monetary values.
Specs and Features
This one was a 2019 TXL 2.7 Litre Prado, chosen from a 2024 fresh import. While considering some other models, like the Toyota Hilux and Fortuner, Rajab and his brother Haider chose this one for its practicality, comfort, and performance.
It is a 5-seater SUV with leather seats, aesthetic dash and steering with wooden lining, heated and ventilated seats, sunroof, improved information cluster panel, Dual-Zone Climatic Control, radar, and adaptive cruise control.
He further modified the car with blacked-out rims and a PPF cover for paint protection, and he certainly wished that this one consumed less fuel than a Toyota Aqua.
