Official Specs & Features of Locally Assembled Honda HR-V

Finally, Honda lovers got what they were waiting for long – locally assembled Honda HR-V. Before unveiling new car, the auto maker released a batch of teasers exhibiting its front facia and head and tail lights.

After the SUV launched, we came up with all the basic information including price, variants and exclusive pictures flaunting style and design. Adding more to taste, let’s have a look at specifications and features of both the variants of newly inaugurated Honda HR-V to know what the SUV has to offer to competes its mates.

Power & Transmission

Both HR-V variants are equipped with a 1.5Lnaturally aspirated engine carrying the capacity to produces 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with CVT transmission. Moreover, both variants VTi and VTi-S offer single Econ mode.

Exterior

Talking about the exterior, the front facia of both variants comes with LED Auto headlights with LED DRLs. Black painted front grille is in VTi variant whereas body colored front grille is in VTi-S variant. Bumper in the base variant is non painted black against sharp silver painted in top variant VTi-S.

Highlighting the side profiles of car, VTi variant offers 17X7 J Alloy Black Cut and VTi-S variant comes with 17X7 J Alloy Gray Paint. Day & Night (Manual) rear view mirror comes in VTI but VTi-S is provided with Auto Dimming rear view mirror.

Interior

Coming inside the cabin, the duo come with different feature. Both vehicles carry 4.2 TFT screen, multimedia steering, smart entry, push start, ambient lights, front console light.

Featuring the contrast, VTi variant offers 9″ Touch Screen (MP5) while upper variant 9″ is equipped with Android based Navigation. Climate control in the former is single zone digital whilst the latter comes with dual zone digital. High grade seats are in VTi-S while VTi provides fabric seats. Besides, VTi-S variant exhibits front, rear and web camera but the VTi variant lacks this feature.

Furthermore, VTi-S variant offers some additional feature like: wireless charger, rear USB port, auto dimming rear view mirror, sequential turn Signals, LED fog lights come as additional feature.

It is pertinent to mention that Grey and Red interior is optional in both variants.

Safety features

Both cars are loaded with safety features including Hill Start Assist (HSA), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Electric Parking Brake, Auto Brake Hold, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Auto Door Lock by Speed, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), High Mount Stop Lamp, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) , Agile Handle Assist and 4 Airbags.
