New 2023 Honda WR-V Launched

Today, we’re going to talk about the 2023 Honda WR-V that was recently launched in Thailand. The WR-V, which stands for Winsome Runabout Vehicle, is a subcompact SUV and the latest addition to Honda’s line-up. Positioned below the HR-V, the WR-V measures 4,060 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, and 1,608 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,485 mm.

The 2023 Honda WR-V in Thailand is available in two variants, the SV and the top-spec RS. The SV is priced at 799,000 baht (PKR 63.97 lac), while the RS is available for 869,000 baht (PKR 69.57 lac). The two variants are visually similar, with minor cosmetic differences like grille inserts and alloy wheels. The RS version has 17-inch dual-toned wheels, while the SV has standard 16-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.

 

Both variants come installed with a 1.5L naturally-aspirated four-cylinder i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine that delivers 120 hp and 145 Nm of torque. Power reaches the front wheels via a CVT gearbox. The RS package has additional features like 6 airbags, paddle shifters, red inside stitching, a rear armrest, LED front fog lamps, a six-speaker sound system, and Honda Connect telematics.

The Honda Sensing suite is offered in both the SV and RS variants. The Honda Sensing suite comprises of the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation System With Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Auto High-Beam (AHB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN). However, the RS version is also equipped with the LaneWatch assist, which is not available in the SV variant.
