How It Started?
The false claims seem to have gained momentum after a tragic accident where a Suzuki Alto was severely crushed by a fully loaded 12-wheeler truck. The graphic visuals of the accident circulated widely online, reigniting concerns about the safety of small vehicles on highways.
Though the ban rumor turned out to be untrue, the incident did prompt serious discussions regarding the structural integrity and safety standards of compact cars.
