After recently launching the Tesla Cybertruck, Elon Musk has now hinted at a low-budget Tesla electric car ‘Redwood’ that is coming anytime soon in 2025. Electric Vehicles are slowly capturing the market, but unfortunately, their prices lying on the higher side have restrained their faster consumer growth. To cater to this issue, Tesla’s CEO has come forward with a futuristic strategy of lowering the cost. He hasn’t revealed much about this new concept car, but we will reveal below everything we know so far.

Redwood Design Strategy

While Tesla has always been innovative with its design, it’s tough to predict the design of ‘Redwood’, but we have tried making our own calculations based on presumptions.

It will be a hatchback, possibly with a compact and elevated design. A windshield projecting towards a nose-styled hood. It will perhaps follow the trend of continuous sleek headlights and taillights with running LED.

New Tesla Under $25,000

This revolutionary concept majorly targets the ordinary consumer market. With a price under $25,000 and a target of producing 10,000 vehicles per month or 5 million units per year, it is going to be Tesla’s most significant selling strategy. As Musk mentioned, “This new model will make us sleep on the lines.” Its production will start in the second half or end of 2024 and will be seen on roads by the end of 2025. However, its location for manufacturing will be Texas Gigafactory in Austin.

New Compact Batteries with a Lasting Range

Redwood will have a new type of battery that will be more powerful and cheaper than the Tesla Model 3. It will not only reduce the size of the battery by 35% but also store more energy by delivering a 16% greater driving range.

This model has excited a new ray of competence in the EV sector with its innovative technology. Some rumors are also circulating that Tesla is soon going to make the battery a structural part. For sure, 2024 is going to be the year of groundbreaking advancements in the league of EVs.
