Well! Jetour X70 Plus is another crossover SUV (7-seater), the newly launched Chinese carmaker Jetour, has brought to the local market today. The company has joined the league of Chinese car manufacturers like Changan, Haval, BYD and Deepal.
The company has also introduced a 5-seater SUV named Dashing, similar to how Changan Pakistan launched the Oshan X7—offering the FutureSense variant with a 7-seat configuration and the Comfort variant as a 5-seater.

Price & Booking Details
The new Jetour X70 Plus comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,495,000. Please note that this is the ex-factory price and does not include withholding tax. Bookings for the SUV will open tomorrow, with a booking price of Rs. 2,000,000. The estimated delivery time is two months. Additionally, the automaker has inaugurated showrooms in Lahore and Islamabad.
Dimensions
The Jetour X70 Plus is 4724 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1720 mm in height, offering a roomy interior. With a 2720 mm wheelbase and 200 mm ground clearance, it ensures stability and smooth handling on various terrains.
Power & Performance
The Jetour X70 Plus is powered by a 1.5L SQRE4T15C turbocharged petrol engine with a displacement of 1498 cc. It is paired with a 6-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) for smooth and responsive gear shifts.
This engine delivers a maximum power output of 115 kW at 5500 rpm, ensuring a dynamic driving experience. Additionally, it produces a maximum torque of 230 Nm, available between 1750 and 4000 rpm, providing strong acceleration and efficiency.

They are not luxurious the car running with a pitiful 1.4 turbocharged engine with only 6 speed automatic clutch transmission
Premium brand got big 2L and 2.5L 4 cylinders engine even 5 cylinders and naturaly aspirated please and V shaped engine with automatic clutch transmisssion up to 10 speeds
To remain realistic , compare it with Cherry Toggo 4 pro worth 9 500 000 PKR it comes with a slighty bigger engine a 1.6 L engine
This wanabee premium brand is useless, and cherry is not only better but got nicer looking car

The Jetore X70 Plus has a 1.5L engine. In power it is better than a Corolla cross. The Jetour X70 Plus has a 1.5L engine and produces 154HP and 230Nm of Torque while the Corolla Cross has a 1.8L engine and it produces 138HP and 172Nm of Torque.
If this has to be compared to anything, being a 7 seater, it must be compared to the likes of the Changan Oshan x7 and the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro etc. However, I do agree, the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro looks and feels much better (and is a lot more expensive).
Also, by your own admission, the Corolla Cross also does not fall under your “Premium Brand” measurement… 🤔

One other point, the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is 1.5L not 1.6L. It produces 144HP and 210 Nm of Torque which is less than the Jetour X70 or the Dashing; and it is smaller than the Jetour SUVs as well.
The plus point with the Tiggo 4 pro is its lower price.

Corolla cross may not be premium, but Toyota is capable of premium
Jetou is simply not
