United, a renowned brand selling Chinese CD70s and probably the 2nd best two-wheeler brand in Pakistan, is now steeping its feet in the SUV market. Yes, they are bringing the Jetour franchise to Pakistan, a Chinese automotive company that is primarily popular in the UAE.
This is not the first time that United has stepped into the four-wheeler market; in 2019, they introduced the Bravo, an 800cc Mehran competitor with a lot of features, but utterly failed due to poor and subpar built quality.
However, we don’t think it’ll happen the same with Jetour because it’s not a United-owned brand but a franchise with quality control that is performing well in the UAE’s market. Coming to cars itself, just like other Chinese cars, we saw the brochures of Jetour cars, and they are also bringing some jaw-dropping hi-tech features and superb value for money things that other non-Chinese brands would charge 1 Cr plus.
