    What an ugly front look
    Toyota Corolla Cross currenty have a promotional price the gaoline X is priced 8 500 000 PKR and come with a 1.8 4 cylinder engine please
    And toyota dosn’t need to prove anything, reliability, comfort fuel efficiency…

    The Corolla Cross has a 1.8L engine and it produces 138HP and 172Nm of Torque.

    The Jetour Dashing has a 1.5L engine and produces 154HP and 230Nm of Torque. Not only that, the feature set you get on the Jetour SUVs are MUCH better.

    As we used to say in France
    In paper it looks good, in reality is another story
    Again this dashing copy cat the profil of Hyundai Tucson but with an ugly front look
    I guess that’s another difference between you and US
    And someone who cannot admit chinese brands are selling obsolete car in Pakistan like MG and Haval
    What credibility do you have ?

  4. Ali Khan says

    In Pakistan:

    The Corolla is the 11th gen from 12 years ago.

    The Yaris is the 3rd gen Vios from 12 years ago.

    The Honda city is the 6th gen from 12 years ago.

    And to top it all off, Suzuki is still selling a dhalla from 50 years ago!!!

    Meanwhile the Haval H6 and Jolion, ICE and HEV, are both current global models. And MG just launched the latest model of the HS as Pakistan’s first PHEV.

    (Even the little Changan Alsvin sold in Pakistan is the latest global model.)

    So, who’s selling obsolete cars…?!

    My credibility are my eyes, my commonsense and my ability to tell the difference between hype/propaganda and the truth.
    👍

  5. Waqas says

    @Ali Khan

    Take a look at Haval Australia they got the newer Jolion it’s been some months already
    MG had launch the new HS and ZS in many countries but not in Pakistan since these brands sold previous generationn cars according to your definition and your friends they are obsolete , right ???

    Unreasonable and stubborn as always…

    I believe that common sense includes Math and being truthful. Right? Now, Toyota Corolla came in 2014. Today is 2025. Then how does that convert to 12? Also, Corolla Cross boasts N/A engine kind, while Jetour has Turbo charged. The two can’t be compared by power alone, but why do you care. You couldn’t even differentiate between Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Therefore, you would forgive my saying that you have got no credibility brother.
    Now come to being truthful. You posted a review regarding Cherry QQ that you owned. Carspirit PK permitted you to use images from internet remember? Weren’t you misleading readers into believing that the car looked pristine even after seven years usage? Also, hype means creating an excitement. Aren’t you doing it by talking about the cars that you have never even driven let alone owning them. So, I request you to go and corrupt Carspirit PK that allows you to publish lies. Thanks.
    PS Conveniently you have forgotten to mention Changan Karvaan in your essay. It is an obsolete model that doesn’t even come with airbags, but that is okay. You love it.
    PPS Here is another bit of info that is negating your word regarding Jetour or Changan Oshan https://china.jdpower.com/press-release/2024-IQS

    @Waqas
    The new Jolion they have in Australia is based on a different Haval SUV called the Chitu or ‘Red Rabbit’.

    The Chinese Brands have updated their models and introduced new ones fairly quickly. However, the Japanese have launched multiple updates and new generations of their cars in other markets, yet they sell decades old models here. But that seems to be somehow OK for you and acceptable… 🤔🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

    “Unreasonable and stubborn as always…”. Are you sure you are not projecting your own “qualities” on to me?!

    “If you want to grow and become a better Man be humble in life”. You should also add “telling and seeking out the truth” to that sage advice and take it to heart!

  8. Ali Khan says

    @Khurram

    The 11th gen of the corolla was launched in Japan in 2012. That makes the 11th gen 13 years old.
    The 11th gen of the corolla was launched globally in 2013. That makes the 11th gen 12 years old globally.
    Lastly, the 11th gen corolla was launched in Pakistan in 2014. That makes the 11th gen 11 years old in Pakistan.

    Either way the 11th gen is over a decade old. Does that clarification help to justify the stagnation and serious lack of innovation from your idols? I hope it helps easy your mind…

    If you had any experience in writing articles you would know that pictures are generally added by the editors of the websites themselves for copywrite issues. So, no, I did not add the pictures. And I’m proud to say that I wrote several articles for that blog which were well received, well read, well appreciated and fully supported by verified facts, linked in the articles themselves. The only one ever to have any issues with any of the articles was you; ranting and raving as always.

    Same question to you buddy boy. Have you driven and experienced each and every car you love to hate on?

    And thanks for the shared link. Don’t know why you wanted to share it. Maybe you didn’t read it fully. The title of the linked article is:

    “Quality Gap Between Domestic and International Car Brands in China Narrows, J.D. Power Finds”:

    It shows how the local Chinese brands are very quickly catching up to the old brands and how the legacy car brands really need to up their game.

    So, thanks for that. 👍

  9. Waqas says

    @Ali Khan

    It dosn’t change the fact that MG selling obsolete car in Pakistan if Haval is not
    And you don’t want to admit that

    I will be CLEAR with you , for the people who take time and interest to read our comments, they are all my witnesses, that

    i’am OK with a 10 year old model, whatever is the origin, Chinese, Japaneses, German, Malaysian etc…
    Because i have consideration for my peoples and my country,
    By that i mean PURCHASING POWER, country development, workers skills, and the engineers who are at the head manufacturers also considering thoses parameters
    To be simple when i car is new, the more newer the more technologies they have, and more complicate is it to maintain and repair them, they also have higher risk of failures
    In tiny market like our, were we had Suzuki Mehran for 30 years, with old engine easily repaired and run, don’t expect people would be capable to buy the most recent car easily only the WEALTHY CAN
    Thats why germans brands are providing the latest genereation of cars, because they are luxury brands for the wealthy

    To sum it up i’am being REALISTIC

    Even in South Africa a country part of the BRICS have the older Corolla (same as in Pakistan) and the newer generation, this kind of policy, we can see it in many countries

    The PROBLEM is you, everything you sum it up to a competition chineses against japanese,
    When we say something good on chinese, you befriend us when we say something bad you are “barking like a dog” (is a methaphor, if you don’t understand)

    you have a problem, and i hope you will come to reason

  10. Ali Khan says

    @Waqas

    MG Just released the first Pakistan assembled PHEV in the local market. The MG4 EV is the latest Global model. The MG ZS EV is the latest global model. How are they selling obsolete cars?

    Going by what you are saying, we should just give up and not think of any advancement. Even the wealthy, as you put it, must relegate themselves to buying a more than a decade old compact sedan and be happy about it. We should be afraid of all change and technology.
    Are we so beaten down that we should only dream of the time we could drive the Mehran and not dare to think we deserve better. Have your corporate masters beaten you so badly?
    Aah Yes, Ze Germans! Mullah ki dor masjid tak…

    I, along with the greater majority of Pakistanis, don’t have the means to own a single new car on the market. Yet I want to see new ones enter. Maybe this will shake things up to the point where some player from Pakistan’s auto industry might finally enter the international market as an export player. Which will be a good thing for the country. Hope is a good thing.
    You might be “realistic” as you put it, but it seems the theme of your reality is: ‘give up!’.

    In South Africa, they sell the latest 12th gen corolla along the 11th gen corolla AS A BUDGET MODEL. Why can’t we do that here? It seems like a very good idea. 👍

    The only reason we are discussing Chinese is because this article IS about new crossovers from a Chinese brand AND, generally, they are ones causing waves in the market everywhere; Breaking the complacent realities of ones such as yourself.

  11. Khurram says

    @Ali Khan
    A decade or no decade, my point, you misinformed. You wrote 12. So, it is you, who rants and even raves.
    Also, to us buyers the Corolla remains as good as new, so there is not point for you to keep harping on your thoughts regarding latest cars. By the way, latest means fashionable and Toyota Corolla is still fashionable with several people.

    Second, my articles are also available on that Carspirit PK. Why then did the moderators not replace images of Corolla with pristine images? I will tell you why, you are doing a propaganda against Carspirit PK. No, here is a proof. https://carspiritpk.com/user-review-2010-toyota-corolla-gli/
    In future refrain from misdirecting people.

    Third, yes I have used a Karvaan, Oshan and Alsvin too and I am proud to say that I hate these cars. Quality isn’t good, parts are expensive and their counterparts, such as Suzuki Bolan, Toyota Corolla and Yaris are far superior when it comes to owing a car for long period.
    Finally, did you read the full report from JD power or got happy with its header? It is listing most popular car models. How many are from Chinese brands? Also, the quality gap still remains, and it shall because the international brands are getting better as well Mr. Khan.

  12. Khurram says

    @Ali Khan
    Wow. Just wow, such pride and ignorance. My point was to make you see that you often rave without realising it, but I guess that brain requires redevelopment.

    Anyway, why talk about Corolla when you aren’t even capable of owning it. People don’t need you to lead their interests. They are spending 7 million on Corolla and are perfectly happy with it in its current shape. MYSELF INCLUDED.

    Yes, I have writing in experience and based on that I say that you are misguiding. Here is an article that I wrote. Why didn’t the moderators work on it? I will tell you why, you are raving and this time defaming Carspirit PK.

    As for my driving Chinese cars, yes, Alhamdulillah, I have had the grace to use Alsvin, Oshan and Karvaan and I say that my Corolla, Yaris and even Bolan are far superior when it comes to cheaper maintenance and long-term ownership.

    Did you read the full report? If so, then tell me how many cars are from Chinese brands? Also, do you believe that Chinese are the only people, who are developing? International brands are growing, so much so that Chinese have copied each of their latest car designs. For example, Land Cruiser J250, Hyundai Tucson and

    Don’t bother, the guy is stupid, is a waste of time, trying to discuss with him
    He totally missinterpreted or doing it in purpose ??? Only God know

    Now he trying to tell i’am against technology progress,
    in my last stay in Pakistan, summer 2024
    I bought something i never imagined existed, is a Ronin smartwatch, local electronic brand manufacturing
    Since i was looking to buy a smartwatch, because i’am doing sport, i was aiming to buy a Xiaomi first, but found a local brand i choose to support local technology develpoment, and i bought the latest generation of smartwatch from Ronin
    Puting that aside, even though i didn’t need to prove myself
    They are many people even in the West, they are against some technologies because of the danger they represent for privacy
    Tesla for exemple is known to spy their owner with the camera they have on board
    But with a stupid guy like Ali Khan, sure we will fast move toward the end time, dajjal is coming that for sure

  14. Ali Khan says

    @khurram

    Back in full trolling form I see. 🤣🤦‍♂️

    You are repeating yourself.

    So, what you are saying is that you have driven an oshan a karavaan and an aslvin and in comparison, you like a bolan better… OOOK! 🙄

    You have written a single article; basically, a review of a corolla. And that beats out me writing several articles discussing the local auto industry and policy and the various problems plaguing it and discussing various proposed solutions…. OK. 🤷‍♂️

    Why are you obsessing over an article I wrote years ago, not as a review for the car I had but as an insight from someone who owned and loved the car to show that it was nowhere at all as bad as the naysayers such as you, made it out to be. Years later you still can’t let it go… 🤯🤣🙄🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
    If you love your experience with your Japanese cars and 50-year-old dhallas, good for you! have fun. But why is it so infuriating for someone like you to accept that others might think differently? Unacceptable and infuriating to the point that you will start name calling, calling them liars, making up stories and just simply lose your collective s*** over it. Not that I’m complaining or that it isn’t hilariously amusing to see your brain breaking in real time. 🤣🤣🤣

    Your buddy brought up the Cross in comparison to the Jatour NOT ME! I was only sharing engine power facts to clarify things. Little did I know it would break you two so badly. Facts really have that effect on you guys, don’t they?! 🤔

    And, proving my point further, you are cherry picking information from an article (written to show the complete opposite of what you have convinced yourself of) to justify your “musings”.

    Whatever floats your boat buddy.

  15. Ali Khan says

    @Waqas

    So now that you have nothing, its back to name calling, whining and taking the conversation on wild tangents.

    And the very last resort, bring religion into it… 🤦‍♂️

    By the way excellent product placement… of Chinese products. 🤣
