The applicants will now be able to get their driving license on the same day of passing their driving test. Previously, the applicants had to wait for many days after passing their driving test.  But the new facility introduced by the ITP would provide relief to the citizens as they will no longer have to pay an additional fee or wait for several days.

Furthermore, the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) revealed that the driving license fee has also been reduced to Rs.2250. Previously, the applicants had to pay Rs.2650 for acquiring a driving license. With the reduction of Rs.400 in the license fee, citizens will be encouraged to apply for a driving license in bigger numbers.

There are a number of drivers in Pakistan who either don’t have a driving license or hesitate in renewing the old one due to the high fee structure. ITP is committed to providing relief to the citizens and at the same time encourage them to become a license holder without any delay.
