Two days ago, the government finally announced the New Auto Policy (2021-2016). The policy introduced tax reliefs for all car segments. Under those tax reductions, the auto companies in Pakistan have reduced their car prices. Toyota took the lead, followed by Suzuki, Kia, Hyundai, Changan, and others.
New Suzuki Car Prices
Suzuki Alto
As per the notification, the price of Suzuki Alto VX is Rs1,113,000 as compared to its previous rate of Rs1,198,000, meaning the price has come down by Rs85,000. The price of Alto VXR has seen a drop of Rs98,000 from its original price of Rs1,433,000 to the new rate of Rs1,335,000. The third variant of Alto VXL AGS saw a drop of Rs112,000 as its new rate is Rs1,521,000 against its last price of Rs1,633,000.
Suzuki Cultus
Coming to Suzuki Cultus, the price of the first variant, Cultus VXR has decreased by Rs1,25,000, meaning the new rate of this car is Rs1,655,000 against its old price of Rs1,780,000. The second variant, Cultus VXL, saw a drop of Rs140,000 as its new price is Rs1,830,000 against old rate of Rs1,970,000. The rate of top of the line variant, Cultus VXL AGS has come down to Rs1,975,000 from old price Rs2,130,000, meaning a decline of Rs155,000.
Suzuki Wagon R
Wagon R VXR, the first variant has seen a rate decrease of Rs110,000 to new price of Rs1,530,000 against old rate of Rs1,640,000. Meanwhile, Wagon R VXL‘s price is declined by Rs120,000, so the new price is Rs1,610,000 against its previous rate Rs1,730,000.
The third variant, Wagon R AGS has seen a decrease of Rs130,000, taking it to the new price of Rs1,760,000 from Rs1,890,000.
Suzuki Swift
The first variant, Swift DLX 1.3‘s old price was Rs2,030,000 while the new price is Rs1,972,000, meaning it saw a price cut of Rs58,000. The second variant, Swift AT, has seen a decline of Rs62,000, making the new price Rs2,148,000 against old rate of Rs2,210,000.
Suzuki Bolan
The price of Suzuki Bolan VX has seen a drop of Rs85,000, taking it new rate of Rs1,049,000 against the old rate of Rs1,134,000.

New Toyota Car PricesRight after the new Auto Policy (2021-2026) announcement, Toyota Indus Motors has decreased the car prices. According to a notification, the company has reduced the prices of Toyota Yaris, Corolla, Fortuner and Revo.
The new prices are implemented from July 1st, 2021.
Toyota Yaris
The price of Yaris GLi M/T 1.3 has been reduced by Rs100,000, as it has come down to Rs2,409,000 from the previous Rs2,509,000. The new price of Yaris GLi CVT 1.3 is Rs2,589,000 against its old rate of Rs2,689,000 after seeing a drop of Rs100,000. Then Yaris ATIV M/T 1.3 saw a drop of Rs100,000 and now costs Rs2,519,000 as compared to its old rate of Rs2,619,000. The fourth variant, Yaris ATIV CVT 1.3, also saw a reduction of Rs100,000 as its new price is Rs2,669,000 against its previous rate of Rs2,769,000.
Coming to 1500cc variants, the new price of Yaris ATIV X M/T 1.5 is Rs2,719,000 after seeing a drop of Rs110,000. The old price of this car was Rs2,829,000. Last but not least, the top-of-the-line Yaris ATIV X CVT 1.5 has also observed a decrease of Rs100,000, and now you can buy it for Rs2,899,000 against its previous price of Rs2,999,000.
Toyota Corolla
The price of Corolla Altis Grande X CVT 1.8 (Beige Interior) has seen a drop of Rs110,000, coming down to Rs 3,869,000 against its previous rate of Rs3,979,000. Then comes Corolla Altis Grande X CVT 1.8 (Black Interior), also saw a price decline of Rs110,000, meaning the new price of this variant is Rs3,889,000 against its old rate of Rs3,999,000.
Corolla Altis X Automatic 1.6‘s new price is Rs3,249,000 after seeing a decline of Rs120,000. The old price of this car was Rs3,369,000. Then comes Corolla Altis X CVT-i 1.8 also saw a drop of Rs120,000 as it will now cost Rs3,579,000 against its previous rate of Rs3,699,000. Lastly, Corolla Altis X Manual 1.6 saw a rate drop of Rs110,000, taking it down to Rs3,109,000 from its previous price of Rs3,219,000.
Toyota Fortuner
The first variant, Fortuner 2.7G, has seen a decline of Rs350,000 and now it will cost Rs7,649,000 against its previous rate of Rs7,999,000. Meanwhile, the revised price of Fortuner 2.7 VVTi is Rs8,899,999, as its price has been reduced by Rs400,000. The last price of this variant was Rs9,299,000.
Lastly, the rate of Fortuner SIGMA 4 is reduced by Rs380,000, and now it will cost Rs9,269,000 against its old price of Rs9,649,000.\
Toyota Revo
The price of Hilux Revo G M/T saw a decline of Rs120,000, and now it will cost Rs6,429,000 as compared to its old rate of Rs6,549,000. Then Hilux Revo G A/T‘s price is decreased by Rs120,000, taking it to Rs6,779,000 against its old rate of Rs6,899,000. And Toyota has reduced the price of Hilux Revo V A/T by Rs120,000, meaning now it will cost Rs7,379,000 as compared to its old price of Rs7,499,000.
New Honda Car Prices
Honda Civic
The price of Honda Civic 1.5 RS Turbo is decreased by Rs135,000, taking the price down to Rs4,564,000 from previous rate of Rs4,699,000.
The second one, Civic 1.8 i-VTEC CVT‘s price is reduced by Rs115,000. The old rate of this car was Rs3,729,000, while the new price is Rs3,614,000. Finally, the price of Civic Oriel 1.8 i-VTEC CVT is decreased by Rs115,000, taking it to Rs3,864,300 against the previous rate Rs3,979,000.
Honda BR-V
Finally, the rate of BR-V i-VTEC S A/T is reduced by Rs105,000. The new price of this variant is Rs3,374,000 against its old rate of Rs3,479,000.

New Kia Car Prices
New Kia Car PricesKIA Picanto:
KIA Picanto 1.0L A/T got a price reduction of Rs127,791, as its old price was Rs2,049,000, and new expected price is Rs1,922,000. Furthermore, the Picanto 1.0L M/T price has got a cut of Rs118,000, meaning it has come down to Rs1,781,000 from Rs1,899,000.
KIA Sportage:
The prices of two variants of Sportage have decrease by Rs. 129,000 and Rs. 117,000, respectively. It means the rate of Sportage AWD has come down to Rs5,270,000 from Rs5,399,000. Meanwhile, the new price of Sportage FWD is Rs4,782,000 against its old rate of Rs4,899,000.
Lastly, the base model, Sportage Alpha saw a decrease of Rs105,000. It means the new rate of this car is Rs4,294,000 against its old price of Rs4,399,000.
KIA Sorento:
Lastly, the prices of three variants of KIA Sorento, has also come down. The first one is Sorento 2.4 AWD and it got a price reduction of Rs187,000. The old price of this One-Unit vehicle was Rs7,999,000 and the new rate is Rs7,812,000. Then comes the second variant, Sorento 2.4 FWD, which got a price decline of Rs163,000 and dropped to Rs6,836,000 from its old rate of Rs6,999,000.
Lastly, the third variant, Sorento 3.5 FWD, got a cut of Rs196,000, taking the price to Rs8,203,000 from its previous rate of Rs8,399,000.
The reduction in price is surely great by the KIA Motors Pakistan. The price decrease would lead to more sales KIA and other companies (if they also reduced rates). So, a good days ahead.
New United Car Prices
United Bravo
United Bravo is another 800cc local car enjoying the same benefits as Prince Pearl. The car was worth Rs. 1,099,000. After a price reduction of 69,000 rupees, it now costs Rs. 1,030,000.
United Alpha
Under the new auto policy, cars between 1001cc and 2000cc will have 2.5% FED and 2% ACD. United Alpha is a 1000cc car that had a price tag of Rs. 1,445,000. Due to the duty reductions, its price has come down to Rs. 1,350,000. The price difference is 95,000 rupees.
New DFSK Car Prices
DFSK Glory 580
Glory 580 Pro 1500cc Turbo has seen a decrease of Rs89,000 as now it will cost in Rs4,610,000 as compared to its old rate of Rs4,699,000. Meanwhile, the revised rate of Glory 580T 1500cc Turbo is Rs4,229,000 against its old rate of Rs4,299,000, meaning a decline of Rs70,000.
Last but not least, the price of Glory 580 1800cc saw a decline of Rs70,000, taking its rate to Rs4,379,000 as compared to its old rate of Rs4,449,000.
DFSK Prince Pearl
The new auto policy has completely cut down the Federal Excise Duty (FED) and reduced the GST to 12.5% from 17% on cars up to 1000cc. Under these benefits, Prince Pearl, the 800cc car by Regal Automobiles, got a price reduction of 88,000 rupees.
The price of Prince Pearl has come down to Rs. 1,111,000 from Rs. 1,199,000.
New Hyundai Car Prices
Hyundai Tucson
Hyundai has reduced the prices of both variants of Tucson. The price of Tucson AWD A/T Ultimate has decreased by Rs130,000 meaning the new price is Rs5,469,000 from Rs5,599,000. The rate of Tucson FWD A/T GLS Sport has dropped by Rs120,000 taking it from Rs5,099,000 to new price Rs4,979,000.
Hyundai Elantra
The price of Hyundai Elantra GLS has dropped by Rs150,000, taking its price to Rs3,899,000 from its old rate of Rs4,049,000.
New Changan Car Prices
Changan Alsvin
The first car by Changan, Alsvin 1.3 M/T Comfort, saw a price reduction of Rs50,000 taking the rate down to Rs2,149,000 from the previous price of Rs2,199,000. The price of second one, Alsvin 1.5L DCT Comfort, has decreased by Rs50,000, meaning the new price is Rs2,399,000 as compared to old rate of Rs2,449,000.
Finally, it is turn of Alsvin 1.5L DCT Lumiere, which saw a decrease of Rs61,000 making the new price Rs2,589,000 from the old rate of Rs2,650,000.
Changan Karvaan
Then comes two variants of Changan’s MPV, Karvaan. The first one is Karvaan Base Model 1.0, which has seen a decline of Rs91,000, meaning the new price is Rs1,399,000 as compared to the old rate of Rs1,490,000. The name of second variant is Karvaan Plus, which has seen a decrease of Rs101,000, taking the price to Rs1,539,000 from previous rate of Rs1,640,000.
New Proton Car Prices
Proton Saga
Under the new tax relief of 2.5% FED and 2% ACD on 1001-2000cc cars, Proton has decreased the prices of all three Saga variants by Rs. 50,000.
The price of Proton Saga Standard Manual variant has come down to Rs. 1,925,000 from the old price of Rs. 1,975,000.
The price of Proton Saga Standard Automatic variant has come down to Rs. 2,075,000 from the old price of Rs. 2,125,000.
The price of Proton Saga Ace variant has come down to Rs. 2,175,000 from the old price of Rs. 2,225,000.
Proton X70
Under the same tax relief of 2.5% FED and 2% ACD, Proton has decreased the price of both variants of X70 by Rs. 100,000.
The new price of Proton X70 Premium FWD is Rs. 4,890,000 against the old price of Rs. 4,990,000.
The new price of Proton X70 Executive AWD is Rs. 4,590,000 against the old price of Rs. 4,690,000.

The price reduction mechanism is not uniform, how come Toyota cars are being reduced at a lower difference than Suzuki hatchback? The worth as well as engine power is higher than Suzuki vehicles, therefore, the combination is not making sense.
