As the launch of Honda City 6th Generation is happening today. Here are the complete specs and features of this new car. It is pertinent to mention that the vehicle is going in 5 variants, i.e., 1200cc Manual, 1200cc S CVT, 1500cc S CVT, 1500cc AS Manual, and 1500cc Aspire S CVT.
Engine and Transmission:
All the variants have SOHC i-VTec 4-Cylinder 16-Valves engine. The first two variants have a 1199cc engine with 88hp and 110Nm torque. Meanwhile, the remaining three have a 1497cc engine, generating 118hp and 145Nm torque.
The two manual variants (1200cc & 1500cc) have 5-Speed Manual Transmissions, while the other three have CVT Transmissions.
Exterior:
All variants come with Premium Dual Barrel Halogen Headlights with Integrated DRLs. The Rear Lights have Advanced Wrap-Around Bulb lights, while the Fog Lamps (Bulb) is optional in first three variants, while offered in top two ones. The 1500cc AS Manual and 1500cc AS CVT have 15-inch Alloy Wheels, while the other three variants have 15-inch Steel Wheels. All five variants have a 15-inch Steel Wheel as a Spare Tyre.
Meanwhile, the first three variants have Keyless Entry with Trunk Opener, while the remaining two variants (1500cc AS M/T & 1500 AS CVT) have Smart Key Entry.
Interior:
The first three variants of Honda City 6th Generation don’t have Push Start, Auto Air Conditioner, and Rear AC vents, while the rest have these options. All five variants have Ivory interior color. Meanwhile, all variants have Driver Seat Height Adjustment Option. The Retractable Sideview Mirrors are Auto + Electric in two top of the line variants, while the company has offered only Electric in the rest of the variants.
All variants have Tilt and Telescopic Electronic Power Steering, making the car’s drive very easy and comfortable. The size of the infotainment in first three variants is 7-inch Touchscreen, while the other two have 9-inch screen.
Safety:
All five variants have ABS + EBD, Dual Airbags and Auto Door Lock at Speed as safety features, along with Disc Brake at the front and Drum Brake at the rear. Only Base Model (1200cc Manual) doesn’t have Cruise Control, while company has offered the option in rest of the variants. The Rear Camera is optional in first three variants, while two top of the line have this option.
The other safety features in the new car are ISOFIX seat for children, ACE Body Structure, ECU Immobilizer, Security Alarm, Impact Mitigating Headset, and Pedestrian Injury Mitigation Technology.
