Changes in Kia Sportage Black Edition – First Look Review
Kia Sportage has been in the market for four years now, being the first product to initiate the crossover spree in Pakistan. After launching the Sportage Alpha variant in July 2020, Kia has added a top-of-the-line variant to the Sportage line-up named the Black Edition. Let’s find out what changes it gets.
Exterior
The overall theme of this car has been blacked out on the exterior. The front grille is blacked out with a black Kia logo; it also gets gloss black fog light housing and a black bumper lip. Sides feature newly added 19-inch gloss black wheels compared to the 18s in the standard AWD. Moreover, chrome molding around the windows has also been blacked out. The rear has no such changes other than the emblems being black instead of chrome.
Interior
Along with the exterior, the Sportage Black Edition gets an all-black interior compared to the beige in other variants. It features black leather seats, and all the previously beige trims are now black, including the dash, door panels, center console, etc. One thing it misses out on is a black headliner, which would have really complemented this dark theme. Overall, the interior feels very premium compared to the beige one.
Price
The Sportage Black Edition is offered only in AWD with a current invoice of PKR 90,50,000.
