Alsvin Price Increased, Even Before Hitting the Road!
The price of recently-launched Changan Alsvin has been increased. As per a notification by the company, the price of Alsvin Comfort DCT has been hiked by Rs50,000, taking its price to Rs2,449,000 against its old rate of Rs2,399,000.
Meanwhile, the new price for Alsvin Lumiere is Rs2,650,000 after seeing a hike of Rs101,000. The previous rate of this top-of-the-line variant was Rs2,549,000. However, the cost of base variant Comfort Manual has remained the same at Rs2,199,000.
It is pertinent to mention that the prices have been hiked, even before the vehicle hits the road in Pakistan. As per reports, the company will deliver the sedan in June 2021.
In the notification, the company said the revised prices would not be applicable on pending orders, received till March 11. The company would implemented new prices from March 15, 2021. “Please ensure that the instrument date must not be over March 11, 2021,” the company stated.

Engine and Power Train:
Changan Alsvin comes in two engine types, i.e., VVT 1.37L, with 95hp and 135nm torque, or 1.5L, producing 105 hp and 145nm torque. The 1.3L variant is Manual, while 1.5L will come with 5-Speed DCT Auto Transmission.
Variants of Changan Alsvin:
In a statement, the company said it is offering the Alsvin in three variants. The first is the 1.37-litre smart manual transmission variant. Alongside this, the car has 1.5 litres 5-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission (DCT).
At the top of the line will be the luxurious “Lumiere” edition with 1.5-litre DC. As per the company, this variant is packed with features customers in this segment could previously only have dreamt of.
Salient Features:
The car’s salient features include Start-Stop Technology (SST), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The first feature is great for fuel-saving as car switch itself off while sitting idle in traffic or a signal. The second one is perfect for maintenance because it will keep you reminding about the tire pressure.
Infotainment System:
The car has 7-inch Human Machine Interface (HMI) that allows the user to reconfigure multiple functions such as air conditioning, lighting, and locks. The floating touchscreen looks very good on the dashboard, giving the whole interior a chic look.
Sunroof in Changan Alsvin:
As per the company, the new Sedan will come with Electronic Sunroof, to give the passenger a great travel experience. This feature has not been offered in this category. This will provide the passengers and the driver a great experience, as it will give a beautiful view of the road and sky together.
Sensors:
The company has installed a reverse camera with parking sensors. Again, this is an excellent feature in the category. Other cars, including Toyota Yaris and Honda City, do not have this feature. Through these sensors, parking would be very easy for the driver.
