Dear Khurram this one will be called only Land Cruiser in North America where the Land cruiser J300 isn’t on sales.
J200 was on sales out there but they stopped it because of the locals needs. In Europe this one is also called Land Cruiser.
The name is according to market. And it was unveiled in Japan.
Anyway this one is 4m92 and J300 4m95? If this one come with at least half the price of J300, it will sale like hot cake in PK.

When you open the link, there is a BIG picture. In it, it simply says “Land Cruiser” on the bumper of the new 2023 250 Land Cruiser. Why is that? Shouldn’t it say ‘Prado’ on it Some where?
When you scroll down on the page, it gives a small picture of this new 250 and simply states “2023 Land Cruiser “250” Series”. Why?

Good! so you do know the EV and that its made by BYD for Toyota. You just choose to ignore this fact. Its called the bz3 sedan EV. Made for Toyota by BYD in China. It is sufferings bad sales and recalls at the moment. Again, not opinion, its a fact! That has always been called the “EV Corolla” by the media, even though its real designation is the bz3. Please lets not get into this again. We have had this old discussion about this EV many times before elsewhere.
The link in the Land cruiser 150 picture (given in the global.toyota link) LEAD TO AN ARTICLE FROM 2009! The “enhanced utility” it talks about is compared to the PREVIOUS OLD MODEL from BEFORE 2009! The link in that article to toyota.jp prado page; what does that prove? That Toyota will sell the old prado in japan till the inventory runs out or until the new one is up and running? You said as much to Waqas in your comment. You acknowledge that this old model will be replaced with the 250. So why are you sharing this link? what’s the the take away? Its just business. They will sell the old one as long as they can sell till the new one becomes available.

Again, referencing what Waqas said. Naming is according to the market. For example the very old suzuki Alto was called the merhan here or the old suzuki swift was called the khyber here. So in some markets, this new Land cruiser 250 can be called the Prado or it can be renamed “Toyota big box cart with 4 wheels that acts like a mountain goat”. Why is that such a problem for you?
