Proton Saga 1.3L Ace A/T User Review

Budget friendly and reliable

2022 Proton Saga 1.3L Ace A/T

Posted by Syed Ali Najam on Sep 27, 2025

Familiarity: I owned this car.
I’ve been driving the Proton Saga Ace since April 2022 and have covered around 40,000 km, mostly in Islamabad. In city traffic, the fuel average stays around 13–14 km/l, while on the highway at 100–120 km/h it gives 16–18 km/l, which is quite reasonable for its class.

For maintenance, I use Petronas or Liqui Moly oil (about PKR 12k). Though the recommended interval is 10k km, I usually change it between 5–7k. Brake pads cost around PKR 26k and normally last 30–40k km, while spark plugs (NGK ) are replaced every two years.

One thing worth mentioning is its performance in hilly areas. Some people think it’s not reliable downhill, but the transmission actually senses slopes and uses engine braking effectively. That’s a big reason why I managed 40k km without excessive brake wear.

Overall, the Saga Ace has been a dependable, practical, and surprisingly capable car for both city and highway drives.

Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Auto Plus Double Cab High Ride User Review

Isuzu Dmax 1900cc Auto Plus Blue Core

2025 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Auto Plus Double Cab High Ride

Posted by Adnan Amman Ullah on Sep 26, 2025

Familiarity: I owned this car.
Exterior:
Exterior is just like any any pickup truck but way improved and much much better than its previous generation.

Interior: Interior is fabulous, it don't give you a hard feel like pickup truck, very spacious and comfort. But it would have been great if they provide android pannel and 2 or 3 color combination in the interior

Fuel Economy:
I guess fuel economy is the major plus for this vehicle, I got an average of 17+ on a 100km+ ride on ring road at minimum 100+ speed. And in city it provided 13-14 average

Ride Quality:
Its ride is very comfortable, due to being rear wheel drive give a bit noisy feel as the rear wheel hub/rotation happening. Else it has much soft suspension than the market available options

Final Words:
Its good product overall

It's a stylish, well-equipped electric hatchback that balances range, performance, and value better than most rivals. Its 64 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive, and safety tech make it practical for daily use while still enjoyable to drive. In Australia, it has topped EV sales charts, even outselling Tesla models, while in the UK it’s been a consistent award-winner and one of the best-selling affordable EVs. Overall, it stands out as one of the smartest EV buys in its class.

Suzuki Swift DX 1.3 User Review

Value to money car

2011 Suzuki Swift DX 1.3

Posted by irfan on Sep 22, 2025

Familiarity: I owned this car.
I've been using this car for about a year now. I was skeptical about the fuel average but it gave me around 11km/l in traffic and 14-15km/l in city with around 50-60km/h. On long it gives 17km/l at 4th gear and 100km/h speed with ac. It's an excellent choice in its price bracket . Spare parts are a bit expensive as compared to cultus and alto but still it's worth it
