It was a channel, not a group. A WhatsApp channel only lets one publish content and for people to follow it. It's pretty universally popular in Pakistan as a platform, so there's no barrier to entry for people who want to follow along with this thread.
I'm sure you've posted about it in various places, but it isn't in the rules you asked me to read.
Anyway, @Xulfiqar is right. I'm not going to bother searching for an image/video hosting solution. Many people have contacted me thanking me for putting together this thread and the service information one for the JA11, so there's nothing in this for me except sharing information and learning from the community here.
But I've seen him battle mods forever on here.
Scrap turbo has been purchased and is on the way, with a surprise downpipe and up-pipe gift. I will make sure @Xulfiqar to check the flange straightness and turbine play before I attach it, as well as bleed the oil/water loops and see oil pressure with starter motor only (fuel relay disconnected) before I start it for the first time. Does that sound like a good way to go?
I'd buy a new oil feed line kit with restrictor, NPT/BSP and AN fittings, braided hose and a tee for the oil pressure system so I could free up ports on the sandwich, but importing from China takes time. I'd much rather contribute to local businesses, but they don't make themselves very accessible to the end user.
I had the opportunity to speak to a couple shops in the US that've rebuilt F6A motors, and they use words like "bulletproof" and "indestructible", especially compared to the K6A, which is pretty universally hated. Very reassuring, except they do say the turbos like to blow up and success with Aliexpress turbos is dubious, with some lasting a month and some lasting forever.
My current dead turbo is an IHI. Both IHI and Hitachi OEM RHB31 turbos are available, with the rare Garrett making an appearance. Chinese offerings include no-name reman RHB31s as well as the cartridge only. If all goes well, I might rebuild my existing turbo with a new Chinese cartridge and keep it as a spare.
I pulled my phone out the second the turbo stopped making boost. Here's what it sounded like.
