do i see a push start button?
No push button. ..but all toyota 3s dealerships across have discouraged price hike at the very last and called 5399 way to much of a price tag. All dealers have requested IMC to reduce price to the old price 5249 or 5299 at max.Price hike consideration is due to sudden dollar surge in value. On road old price estimates 5249 + 200 + 225= 5674

Zabrdast! !! Booked one for myself in Phantom Brown. The flagship exclusive most popular global color for Fortuner.
One of the biggest reasons previous Fortuner wasn't popular because it was over priced. It's not worth more than 4.5 million. Toyota got CKD duty down by 10% back in 2015 and Yen also dropped 10% from the initial launch date back in 2013. Fortuner should have been at least 20% cheaper compared with 2013 prices. Toyota never passed on this saving. The only saving they passed on was the 5 lacs duty that this Government imposed and then took back when Fortuner almost got killed. They are repeating the same mistake once again. A lot of people buying Civics would happily upgrade to Fortuner by stretching their budgets a bit if it's priced around 4.5 million. Yet again there would be a lot of people who will buy Fortuner at this price happily but at this price point there's not much a difference between Prado and Fortuner. People who have the budget to spend close to 6 million (registration and taxes included) have the capacity to spend a mill or two more. What Toyota should be looking at is to grab the middle segment from 4 million range which is far larger than 6 million segment.
What a pleasant coincidence on social media and public forums....
Some guys on these threads are always ahead in bringing up new vehicle launches, these guys get access to secure parking areas to bring us 'spy shots', they are always happy with higher prices and whatever stripped down versions are launched by the assemblers, they are ready to book one even before official launch, somehow they keep defending each and every public criticism now matter how constructive that may be and the best of all.... they get a vehicle (as if purchased) well before any standard civilian delivery to further promote it being 'the most amazing creation money could buy'.
These are just my naakis observations on a public forum and not directed at any particular post or person. Any similarities would be a coincidence.
@tareenIncidental and not coincidental Quite sad though. There was a time when PW was not infiltrated by commercially-interested entities.
Had IMC launched this new Fortuner with the new GD engine, it would have received a tick from my side, however, in my personal opinion, launching the new model with the same old 2.7L engine, delivers an underpowered and inefficient performance and is a BIG turnoff for many users.
Exactly ptice is a bit of a concern but its still priced well in between the segment as a brand new 2017 2.7 tx prado costs 121 lacs and 4.0 tz 139 lacs.Had it not been a 7 year old used machine selling at over 7.5 million and that to a basic unit with no new tech Powerseats paddle shifters 6 speed gearbox electric diff lock coolbox and rear dual Ac individual vents etc ...PRado would have been a certain choice even at a price tag of 2 million more over Fortuner. But Fortuner stands alone being brand with all goodies and 3s support warranty in the price segment. Its a good buy eyes closed even not a GD variant. A proper 7 seater stylish road presence with performance option just around 1 lac for Unichip and it beats 2.8GD in hps and torque and efficiency. 6 speed Gearbox is a winner for Fortuner as even TZ 4.0 Prado till 2015 comes with a 5 speed auto.Phantom brown mates... thumbs up while thumping the ground to countdown the days left for delivery.
Its high time that we see the downfall of prado. Its just the build quality on which we will have to compromise just a little but it beats prado in all segments.
When Deliveries will start?
Exactly my point! A few posters promoting Fortuner and Revo with so much enthusiasm that it's actually obvious. They don't even care to respond to the allegations made against them to clarify why and what makes them promote Fortuner so enthusiastically. If you go through their posts in this thread alone you would find only a few points repeated over and over again with a sales pitch shoving everyone to buy it. Good luck Toyota with the new strategy! Keep your head buried in the sand ignoring real customer feedback
2nd week of February 2017of booked within this week. ..
18" alloys and flawless build quality just like tha i or jdm... see it to believe! !! Immaculate interior finish and exterior 7 coat over paint work is just next to marvel. Even a glass coat on a 7 year old prado can't save it from shame when standing next to the brand new shinning Fortuner. Pure pleasure that worths it value to the single pence spent over.
Give me a break! You will make me vomit.
Hahahaha.... I wish I could double like it. Can't be a better response to this B*S going on here...
Buss kardo bhai. Itna overkill na karo.
I've seen the Fortuner at TCM Sh-Faisal inside out. It's paintwork is average at best, just like the paintwork on Revo and Corollas. The interior material and build quality is improved and can be considered as good as per Pakistani standards, but not comparable with JDMs under any circumstances.
The 2.7L engine SUCKS big time.
Since you're apparently from the dealership, can you please find out if REVO and FORTUNER comes with undercoating? I've gotten different feedbacks in this regard. Some say that REVO comes undercoated while Fortuner does not. Some say both come undercoated while some say neither are undercoated.
What's the reality?
