Spot on, I was about to say that. Mitsubishi crank dies before the oil pump dies.(happens with all cars specially)
So technically speaking no one has bothered to see the oil pump strains, maybe they are like
"oh sir raigmaar se ragrunga oil pump ki kit ko" and oil pump will shine crazily.
So if you aren't installing a brand new oil pump you are done. Whatever con rod bearing size you are running doesn't means anything unless oil pump is replaced.
Pump gear would be having friction marks, op gear cavity will be having scratch marks, feeler gauge test bhi ni ata hoga kisi ko. Oil pump clearance bhi nai check karengay.
People forget that it's a stroker killer when they're talking about mitsubishi. Oil starvation or high oil change interval and sludge blockage kills the oil pump resulting in lubrication system failure hence leading to bearing seizure. So if you are not finding the root cause of the current problem, you won't get a solution.
Since you have put up this query we all are here to guide you the best because as soon as you leave paying mechanic and your crank is dancing on a tak tak tak music, mechanic will be like oh sir jee bus Desi kaam ka yehi hota hai chal gaya to chal gaya.
