Need suggestion and advise on this. Feedback from personal experience will be preferred and highly appreciated.
So I got my Sportage regular serviced from KIA dealer back in Mid July 2022 with 7,2XX KMs. Since this was my third service so had to get their 10K KM maintenance package.
Now next schedule maintenance is due after 3 months (as per KIA 3 months of 5K KM). But my car has only done 10,4XX KMs till date.
If I visit now, they will bound me to get their 15K KM maintenance package. Now this will impact overall schedule. Cuz following this, they will ask me to do 20K KM package (in next visit) and most likely at that time, my car mileage would be around 15K KM. And for 20K KM, they have CC cleaner recommendation.
So my query and concern is how to deal this? They lady at service desk is clueless and simply asking to follow KIA's schdule as per visit - which I am unable to digest. The service agent who accepts the car suggested offline that get oil change only in next visit (after 4 months) and once my mileage is near to 15k, get the 15K KM package then only. This suggestion sounds reasonable but again he repeated that this is offline and not to discuss this with any other stakeholder. Following this without KIA officially knowing this may impact my warranty with reason that I missed their recommended KM maintenance package.
I dont want to void/impact my warranty. Plz advise how to move forward? Any personal experience with official statement will be helpful.
P.S: I really miss my Honda's maintenance. Light on pocket and No such drama,,,!
