Hi, I bought FWD just before Eid from Islamabad dealership. I took the car and travelled to Lahore the same day. Driving above 100 I felt the car steering was shaking, not much but just enough to create a bit of doubt. I have been using cars for many years, all sedans and never had this issue. Well, it was eid, everything was closed for a week. I took the car to the dealership after eid, it did around 1,400 kms for the first check. They did it, asked them the steering wobbles, they said we will need a detailed checkup, so more time is needed, please comeback during the day time. I called time on one Friday and they said the relevant mechanic who looks after the wheel balancing is off today.
Reached back after a week the car is done around 3,000 kms. Well they did the wheel balancing and charg d 4,600/- I said but this should have been covered in the warranty. To which they said, it is only covered within the 1000 km during the first check up. I said but you didnβt do it when the car came for the first check up. Well, long story short, I paid them.
Moral of the story, all dealership will fleece you for money. A brand new car of over 8 million should just work, highly disappointed with Hyundai.
