There is one very strange quirk in the BR-V which no one has spoke about. The quirk only relates to cars with the keyless push start.
If the car is locked with the push button on the driver door or via the remote control and then if one tries to open the car with the manual key, the alarm goes off and there is no way to stop it unless one uses the remote to cycle through the lock/unlock operation. How strange is that!!!!
So for example, if the remote battery died and you wanted to get something from inside the car, it is not possible without setting off the alarm. Very poor engineering on behalf of Honda Thailand. My 2017 Civic or the previous 2007 Civic didn't have this quirk.
