Here's my review after 3 months of 2.0 AWD ownership and 2000 km driven (99% of this is local Islamabad usage and 1 trip to Murree). We sold our V6 Sorento for this, so most of this is a comparison to that.
Power is decent. There is a definite turbo lag and it's not a smooth delivery. DCT transmission is very twitchy under slow moving traffic. However all this is by design, so it's not a big issue and you get used to it. The best part is that because it's AWD, there's hardly any wheel spin even if you floor it. Other cars would just spin their wheels and not go anywhere. Overall it's no 3.5L V6, but it's powerful enough.
I get around 10km/L on my daily office commute. I used to get 7km/L on Sorento, so this is a welcome change. Using normal fuel.
Suspension. This is the weirdest part of this car. It's definitely no way near Sorento when it comes to comfort. I would say it's a cross between a Civic and a Sorento. The suspension is fine, EXCEPT when it goes through potholes. I don't know how the front suspension is configured, but there are loud thuds and strong feedback in the steering wheel when going through small potholes. This is most noticeable when going over cat eyes. It's extremely jarring and something you expect from a much, much smaller car.
The infotainment screen is beautiful. Using full screen CarPlay is a joy. The speakers get extremely loud and they sound very nice as well. However, I've had instances where CarPlay just stops working. It hangs up and goes back to the home page and doesn't detect it any more. A full restart is the only way out of this. Also, the only way to control volume is through the steering wheel?? Also I feel like the screen, especially in CarPlay mode, doesn't dim at night or when headlights are on. It's way too bright and can be distracting.
The speed o meter screen is very nice as well. I just wish it was more customizable. It only has 2 themes. One of these 2 is just useless because it dedicates one side entirely to CarPlay navigation. Why's that useless? Because CarPlay navigation on this screen as well as heads up display only works on Apple Maps, which don't work in Pakistan.
The shortcut button on the steering wheel is barely customizable. There are only like 4-5 different things you can set it to.
Seat ventilation is extremely weak. Even at max setting, you will only notice it if you're wearing thin clothes.
You can't open the trunk if the car is on. You need to turn the car off to open the trunk. Seriously??
Highest quality cameras you'll see on any car barring maybe something like an S class. The cameras that point to the wheels are extremely useful. Overall the camera system of this car really sets it apart from the rest. My only complain is that whenever the camera comes on, it lowers the volume of the music.
